FilmBiz Rate is the best way for film crew members to check their pay stubs. With contracts always changing from show to show, it's really hard to guarantee that your pay is being calculated properly. With this app there’s no more guessing and trying to figure out the calculations, we do all the work for you. Just enter your times and press Calculate!
Easily calculate a day/week or even a custom length of time with our easy to use calendar where you can pick a start and end date. By selecting a custom range you can view a generated excel sheet with a complete breakdown by Month/Week or even day. When selecting a week you can compare the generated pdf which has a full break down of the times against your weekly pay stub from the your payment company.
With this app you can customize Overtime, Turn Around and Meal Penalty structures to be exactly like your contract.

Meal penalty function faulty
Doesn’t calculate meal penalties correctly according to how they’re done in the film industry. Time back in on set vs 30 min lunch for total hours. This is a major flaw imo. Unless I’m missing it somewhere in the settings but I didn’t see a way to change it.
Easiest Rate Caculator Out There!
I've tried all manor of time card calculation, and this app is the easiest one that I've come across so far. Easy to use, and has a lot of options that make it useful for non standard situations such and NDB or 2nd meal.
Genius!!! Love this app!!
I am so bad at doing the "clicks" for accounting and figuring out my OT and meal p. This is so amazing! The fact you can rotate it and send your timecard to yourself or whoever is so cool. I also work on a few shows and like the ability to send a total for all the Shows for the week/month or custom. This is honestly the best app if you work in the film industry.

I have been using this app for sometime and I was hoping for more features and I got my wish. I really like that I can now look at a full weeks work to compare with my paycheck. As well I noticed I can email myself an excel sheet of all my workdays, so now I can keep a running total for the year very easily and quickly by entering my paycheck times at the end of each week. Thanks and please keep the features coming!
Useful App in the Biz!
I am always trying to figure out how much I made at the end of the day, now this makes it very easy to do. Also now I can spend my money before I have it….hahaha…Great App!!
