Game Changing App!
This negative to photo app is easy to use and has opened up so many possibilities to understanding the past. I love it!
Worst application for scanning pictures
This application is not user friendly. Even in paid version there are too many animations and glitsy actions that it takes away from the purpose of this application, simply to Scan photos! There are unnecessary ads to create post cards etc, which is not needed in this software Canceled and refunded my purchase.

Not sure, there are probably better dedicated scanners but for the 20 bucks worth every Penny!
Incredibly annoying autocrop feature you can’t disable
Autocrop that crops into a random part of the photo, warping the perspective. Have to manually fix it every single time.
Lack of settings
I am trying to scan negatives from 30s and 40s and they are about the size of a 5x7 actual picture. When I scan them the program cuts them short, no matter how I scan or I can’t get the whole picture to develop in the app. I appreciate the app for helping with saving crumbling negatives I just wish there were additional settings so I could get the whole picture when the negatives are larger.

Poor quality on large format negatives
This app was only designed for 35mm. I inherited a box of large format negatives (2.25”x2.25”, 2.5”x4.25”, etc.) and the app doesn’t scan them very well. The phone has to be up to a foot away to get the negative to fit in the guide. The auto clip feature then crops it randomly. I’ve had to take 8 images before getting one to work. The final selection was soft and grainy. Unless for printing.
