## FINAL FANTASY Ⅸ Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Could be a mobile masterpiece."
The game is top notch—just as magnificent as the original (with beautiful enhancements). Unfortunately, the game crashes when trying to load a save almost 80% of the time. Often, you’ll find yourself avoiding it altogether due to the frustration of not being able to reliably access the save file which houses your hours of play.

If this bug were fixed, the game would easily earn a 5 star rating.
-- Ipafs, 2025-01-04

### *---- "Final Fantasy IX"
El juego se sierra de momento
-- nunii189, 2024-12-25

### *---- "Crashes and sound issues"
I have tried to play this through on my iPad. It crashes right around when the first disk ends and won’t load. Played through 3 times to this point and can’t continue. Also will not play sound on my phone. So it’s pretty terrible
-- Blind-king, 2024-12-19

### *---- "Fix the app!!!"
Unplayable. Crashes often. Waste of money.
-- Terrili, 2024-12-14

### *---- "Bugs and crashes"
FF IX is a great game, but this port CONSTANTLY drops the audio on me and forces me to restart. It’s infuriating. Also crashes out fairly frequently. On iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 18.
-- Beastwick, 2024-12-13

### *---- "Glitch city"
The game crashes quite often. We finally get an update to make it playable after years and this is the trash we get.
-- wreckedsoul, 2024-11-23

### ***-- "Please Fix"
I love this game. But after the iOS 18 update the sound stops after loading a save file with occasional crash. Please fix, I miss playing one of my favorite games at my leisure when I’m bored, waiting somewhere, or when I just want to hear the music.
-- Daddy Bat, 2024-11-12

### ****- "Fun game, too many crashes"
The game now crashes when I select Continue from the main menu, AND when I try to Load my save data. (The save data was working, but now crashes the game, trying to load Slot 1:3) The controls are a bit wanting too… it is far too easy to accidentally select an opponents card to take at the end of a match when trying to view the cards to see which one you want.

EDIT: After loading other save files (slot 1 file 02) and scrolling the list, I finally got slot 2 file 03 to load, then immediately saved to slot 1 file 04 to see if a backup helps when trying to load a save file later.

Before finally loading, the game crashed several times (~5-6 times)
-- Striblezz, 2024-11-08

### *---- "No sound"
The sound stopped working a while ago. No music or sound. Why would I play this without music or sound? I won’t be. Nobuo would be disappointed. Fix this, please.
-- Shattered Vrael, 2024-11-04

### **--- "Crashing"
Keeps crashing for some reason after updating to iOS 18
-- Idkbrah1, 2024-10-22
