## Find Starlink Satellites Description
People across the world have been spotting an amazing line of bright moving lights in their night sky. These are Starlink satellites launched by SpaceX, and they look like a "train" of moving lights since 60 satellites are launched together at a time.

Find out when you can see this phenomenon at your location!

This app is the official mobile version of the findstarlink.com website, which has been successfully serving Starlink predictions to people since May 2019 (when Starlink first launched). The findstarlink.com website has been mentioned on several press outlets like Yahoo! News, WIRED.it, and Florida Today, and receives daily user confirmations of successful Starlink sightings. This app additionally lets you set reminders, and works offline.

Designed to be simple and easy to use. First, please select your nearest city (or coordinates), and click on 'Find Visible Times'. The app will list the times when you can see Starlink. You can also click 'Remind me' next to any timing, to get a reminder 30 minutes before Starlink will be visible at your location. A 'Live Map' lets you track where Starlink is currently in the world.

Please feel free to email me at dev@cmdr2.org if you have any questions or problems, and I can try to help.

## Find Starlink Satellites Reviews in United States

### *---- "Wrong and rude"
Loved it at first. Sent the kid money and asked a q - not even a thanks let alone an answer. Now, the data is unreliable and I’ve wasted too many hours in the cold waiting for a show that never starts.
-- tedmarx38, 2024-12-08

### *---- "Three attempts and nothing."
Not sure if the app actually works considering I’ve attempted viewing on three separate occasions and I see EVERYTHING BUT the alleged Starlink… so I’m done wasting my time.
-- painter66, 2024-08-14

### ***** "Can buy you coffee"
Very cool app! I’d love to buy you a few cups of coffee, but after I click the plus sign to add a few and then click continue, the app crashes.
-- hatch fan, 2024-06-05

### ****- "Finally seeing Starlink"
I have tracked satellites for years and I could never seem to spot Starlink in the sky. I’ve had this app but didn’t have success before, but the other night I finally successfully tracked Starlink around 8 o’clock using this app. It was off by about 4 minutes the first night and off by about 10 minutes the next night but works.
-- Ericc54321, 2023-08-12

### ***** "Worked for me in Austin"
First try for a good visibility(3.5) and I saw the string of starlings satellites! Was pretty mind blown how bright they were because I was in a high light population area.
-- Jaydawgnig, 2023-08-09

### *---- "Useless"
The remind me feature never works
-- kinaay, 2023-08-05

### **--- "Zero visible at time quoted + or - 10 min"
Last night OKC rated bright 3.5 none visible and viewing location put it going directly over head something is seriously off. I have tried this multiple times no sightings
-- Ken gill, 2023-02-06

### **--- "Serious flaw"
Spent weeks looking based on info provided… then saw the super tiny note that times are MST

Is it not possible to set them for the local time zone here in AZ? (We don’t “spring forward” or “fall back” and are currently pacific time)
-- Todrick, 2021-07-07

### ****- "Update question"
If a Starlink pass is rated a 2.1, why would it be classified as dim? Prior to the update, this rating would have placed it in the “good” viewing category. Is it now driven by the time of the pass, phase of the moon (because it was pretty bright last night)?

On an unrelated note, I find that using the map to track the trains (select at bottom, center of the app) is more reliable than just the stated time. Within 5 min, I can typically see something.
-- DisneyFan74, 2021-06-18

### **--- "Needs updating"
No data in the last three Starlink launches. Got this app to see the train resulting from new launches, not to see single satellites.
-- Mtmurat, 2021-05-16
