I've had my FireBoard for a while and still believe it's the best out they but the app has gotten less intuitive. I took me a while to figure out how to set a low/high temp alert and at one point I thought it wasn't possible. The functionality works well though

The app really needs an overhaul.  Functionality is great but with the addition of the Pulse wireless probes I find the layout very confusing.   I would love to see a tab that shows each probe (wired or wireless) on the left side in a column and the temperature readings for internal and external in two addition columns.  The charts are nice but I want a nice simple screen that I can glance at to view the data.

Edited: The probes now have color options. Most excellent! 

First off, kudos to the dev’s for this. Being a systems administrator I know it takes work. Thank you for the work! 

I think being able to change your probe color would be awesome. Full RGB spectrum color change! 

I’m not color blind but people are. Having ALL your probes in the app different shades of brown isn’t great. 

If we could do the following: 

1) Select and probe we want and change the color
2) For each specified color change, have a wheel or something of any full spectrum RGB color we desire 

I want my Fan to be Red, my Pit temp Green and my probes blue, Purple, Yellow, etc

But the app itself kicks butt. Great job.

I love the FireBoard. The device is great, meat probes and grill probe are great. But the app is so confusing. I just want a simple way to set temperature probe to a temp, and that works the fan to turn on or off depending on temp, along with an alert to set when meat reads a certain temp. Sometimes going too complicated with graphs and everything else it's trying to offer takes away from the basic needs.

Wanted to love this app but had so many issues with inconstant readings and defective probes that after multiple purchases and exchanges I finally gave up. The support here is really lacking and the team is defensive even when there are known quality issues. 

Switched to a competitor and while not as flashy it just works.

I love my FireBoard 1 and the app works great.  It just needs a widget for the Home Screen and a complication for the watch.  I’d probably give it 5 stars otherwise.
