## First Choice Holidays Description
We’re First Choice – the holiday company that helps you pick the trip you really want. Using our years of experience, we bring together all the options you could want in a holiday. Sun, sea and sand, or adventure, culture and nature. Wildlife or nightlife, plane or train, laidback breaks or active escapes.
With only great choices to hand, it’s time for you to get picky. Plan your trip around your interests or our destinations. Pick luxury hotels or upmarket hostels. Go via plane or train thanks to our partnership with Byway. Dine in or dine out. Add an experience, upgrade or save some cash. Only you can decide what makes a choice perfect. And, best of all, you can do it all right from the app.

Use the First Choice app to…
• View and book holidays, hotels, flights and experiences
• Filter your search to pick the perfect trip for you
• Pick your favourites and save them to your shortlist
• Get to know your destination better with handy info, hints and tips
• Nail your holiday prep with our travel checklist
• Check your outstanding balance and make payments
• Make changes or upgrades to your trip before you set off
• Keep track of your flight’s status
• Get in touch with our team 24/7 while you’re away

Where you can go
We fly to over 70 destinations worldwide and are updating our travel spots all the time. Our most recent additions include trips to the beautiful Adriatic Coast with new destinations in Albania, Slovenia and Croatia. Or, try a new take on Spain and France, with holidays now available in foodie and cultural hotspots along Spain’s Atlantic coast (San Sebastián and A Coruña) and new destinations in the French Riviera (Cannes, Aix en Provence and Montpellier).

Further afield, we’re excited to be offering Jordan and Mexico City. Whether you’re looking for a boutique, city-centre hotel for a quick European visit, or an exotic All Inclusive holiday with cocktails on tap, First Choice helps you pick the trip of your dreams.

Keep track of your booking
Even if you don’t book through the app, you can keep track of your trip on the app – you just need your booking reference number, the lead passenger’s surname and your departure date.

Ready, set, go
Count down the days before your trip with our handy holiday countdown and share with your friends to let everyone see you living your wanderlust dreams. Plus, there’ll be no last-minute panic, as our travel checklist helps you tick off the all-important bits before you go.

The extra bits
It’s easy to add an upgrade or extra to your flight – treat yourself with Premium seating or an Extra Legroom seat (airline permitting). You can also add on some extra baggage allowance, order holiday money or book airport parking and hotels.

Keep in touch with us
With our fully digital service, we’re always on hand to help while you’re away on your trip. The in-app chat will connect you with our team 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you can ask about local experiences, check on transfer and flight times, or report any unexpected issues.

Check out our experiences
Want to explore like a local? Make the most of your trip with First Choice Experiences – you can browse and book on the app, and check all the important stuff like pick-up info and anything you need to take, such as swimwear or extra cash for tipping. Once your experience is booked, your ticket will be kept in the app (and sent by email, too).

## First Choice Holidays Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "RIU Costa"
Stayed here before, we upgraded to a junior suite with lateral sea view. Fantastic. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Cleaning staff always on the go. All staff very helpful and friendly. Dining staff always helpful as my Wife has mobility issues. Food great with a wide choice always available, tasty too. No problem getting drinks at bars. Daytime entertainment team friendly and interact with guests. Using the hotel app is easy. The location is right for us,enough near the Hotel, flat promenade for easy strolls. The beach is great and is regularly raked/cleaned by local services. Baring in mind we had the severe storm warning announcement last week and debris was washed up on the sand, but no doubt this will be removed asap. All in all we love this hotel especially the outside dining terrace. Thanks especially to Raul in main dining room who always found a suitable table especially for my wife’s needs.

### *---- "Very slow, overcomplicated and crashing"
For an app that is supposed to be used mainly abroad, therefore on all sorts of wonky hotel WIFIs and limited mobile roaming this app is very heavy, slow and data hungry. Also it’s not very intuitive and often you need to dig around to find things. On the top of all that it often crashes for no reason.

### *---- "App"

### ***** "P Frost"
It’s been an easy experience booking my holiday to The Gambia for a November holiday, with plenty of time to pay. I will definitely be using first choice again in July when I plan to go to Turkey

### ****- "A review of the actual app"
Why are so many dimwits using this to review their holidays rather than the app from the err AppStore lol! Anyway I like it - works well. Travel wallet feature good for uploading and storing all your docs regardless of where you purchased them. Countdown feature slightly hard to read coz of the line down the middle.

### ***** "Amazing place"
Going back for our third year as a family, we have a 9yr old and 13yr old, their is so much do to for the kids which is fantastic and the food is amazing. The place is so clean and well looked after. The staff are friendly and will always stop to say hi. If you haven’t been you are missing out.

### *---- "Bad information"
I am stuck in Portugal not tui fault. But when I have no info on when I fly home and get the wrong e mail about my bags in Manchester. Whilst still awaiting my return. It is obvious your systems have not been stress tested for large scale problems.

### ***** "Long awaited trip to Porto Santo"
After watching the ferry at Funchal come and go for many years, we decided it was time to take a visit.
The island is small but perfectly formed, gorgeous beach, quiet and relaxing.
We stayed at the Pestana hotel. This hotel is nice, excellent rooms and beautiful gardens.
The only thing I would say is that it does attract couples with young children. Having said that there are also many couples, middle aged and retired.
The entertainment did seems to be tailored toward these families.
The meals are basically buffet, along with 4 other restaurants, which need to be pre-booked. When we were there the booking system was down and it was manually booked which was irritating, because you struggled to get the restaurant you wanted, this was sorted after a few days.
If I had any criticism it would be that the buffet restaurant is too small and seating very close together.
Probably not a real 5 star resort, but very nice.
