firstgear turns learning to drive into a clear, confident, trackable journey — for learners and the supervisors who teach them.

No more crumpled paper logbooks. No more guessing what to practise next. Just a simple, structured way to build real driving skills, log every hour behind the wheel, and know exactly when you're ready.

WHAT YOU'LL DO WITH FIRSTGEAR

• Track your progress across 45 core driving skills — from basic moves and low-speed control, through intermediate road craft, parking, advanced manoeuvres and special conditions.

• Start a practice session in one tap. Pick the skills you want to focus on, drive, then reflect together at the end.

• Rate how you went on each skill after every session. Your confidence builds visibly over time — new → practising → competent.

• Add a supervisor (a parent, guardian or instructor) so they can rate sessions alongside you. Two perspectives, one honest picture of where you're at.

• Watch short expert video guides for every skill before you get behind the wheel. Know what to do before you try it.

• Set your own goals — hours, skills, milestones — and watch them tick over.
