Players farm resources, run incubation sequences, and expand their reef with newly created species. To craft rare fish, the player combines Gene Feed, Shell Matrix and Pearl Catalyst to begin an incubation sequence. The interface clearly shows all required ingredients and the target rarity before crafting begins. After starting the sequence, the incubation timer counts down, and once finished, the resulting fish can be collected. Higher-tier recipes and catalysts allow players to pursue rare, epic and legendary outcomes. Resource farming is straightforward and transparent. Algae Beds allow the player to plant plots, wait for growth and harvest feed, while the Shell Farm produces shells used for advanced gene recipes. Each plot shows exact timers and amounts, ensuring everything is clear with no hidden rules. As the collection grows, players discover new fish species and keep track of how many copies they own. Each species displays its rarity and multiplier, encouraging players to work toward completing the full set across all rarity tiers. Progression is supported through daily quests that reward gathering and crafting activity, as well as long-term goals based on total fish count and high-rarity creations. Completing quests grants pearls, which can be used to accelerate various aspects of gameplay. The shop offers thematic lab skins that change the visual style of the gene lab, along with farm boosts that increase algae and shell yields. Players can also acquire cosmetic fish skins for selected species.
