Cons: 1. Exercise selection is odd and it prioritize body-weight exercise, even when equipment is available. Body-weight is sub optimal for body building as you cannot do progressive overload. 2. Calore calculation is way overestimated. I use the app on the Apple Watch with HR monitor. 1 hour of back and shoulders, single exercises, no supersets, cannot be 740 calories. That is higher than my one hour on the bicycle trainer in zone 3, or 1 hour intense session on the elliptical. Pros: 1. I like the interface and how exercises are clearly explained with video. 2. The muscle recovery tab is very helpful.
I have been using this app for a couple of years now, and it's pretty good even though I sometimes feel it has trouble taking rest days or long breaks into consideration. Progress overview and analytics are also quite limited, and the app is slow to add new features. Even simple things such as lifetime achievements are not accessible for users.
スーパーセット作成時に同一筋群か拮抗筋群のいずれを有効にするか選べるようにして欲しい。
I have been using this app/service for about a year and a half. My first year was great, the app was giving me great advice on how many sets and what exercises I should do. For the past x amount of months, using this service has been a constant war between common sense and the algorithm it uses. Every time I open the app and it generates a new workout for me, my mind is blown. Here are a couple of examples: 1. My shoulders are at 15% of recovery. I just trained them two days ago, yet the app wants me to do three exercise for shoulders and each exercise has 4 sets of a heavy weight. Why? 2. Since the recommendations have gotten worse for the past weeks, I try to do my own workout. However, the app often recommends me to do 6 sets of every move that I specifically choose. It's absolute madness. I understand that 3 sets of an exercise isn't the golden rule but why so many sets with a heavy weight when I am trying to do various exercises for a specific muscle? It makes no sense at all. 3. I tell the app to make 1 hour workouts in the settings yet these workouts last 90 minutes. Rest time is often unreasonably long. I look at what the app recommends me to do for a legs workout and it's virtually impossible to complete within 60 minutes. 4. Another issue that I have is that the app just blatantly ignores what I wish to do. I select calves when I create a workout and it just ignores it. Calves doesn't appear in the workout. I sometimes try to add forearm exercises to my workouts and once again, the app just says "nope". In the end, I understand that this is just an app and we haven't gotten to the point where we are paying for a virtual personal trainer. I also understand that if I have my own preferences that I should just "create my workout from scratch". If that is the case, then why am I paying for a yearly subscription when I can just use a cheap and simple training app that I only pay for once. I see wonderful reviews for this service and honestly I was happy the first year, unfortunately I've gotten to a point where I just don't want to fight with this app/service anymore. Am I the only one who has this problem?
Been using this app for about 3 weeks and it’s already playing an essential role for maintaining my motivation and helping me to go all-out. However there is 2 slight modification that I want. 1) Want the timer counting the interval to ring even when I’m opening another App or when my iPhone is in a sleep mode. 2) On my max-effort day of back-squat, I could only record up to 29 reps (for 57 Kilos just in case the weight matters). I want you to allow us to record more than 29 reps. My environment: iPhone 7 / iOS 12.4.1 / Fitbod ver. 3.19.0 (16)
Don’t want to spend ¥1000/ month before knowing what it can do. Strong app is a better example with their business model that allows you to at least try ONE workout.
Lets you know how exercised each muscle group is and suggests exercises for muscle groups you need to hit. Very useful : )
