I get bored every now and then and try out other fitness apps but end up always coming back to Fitbod
Can’t target delts or specific muscles in muscle groups. Can’t add fatigued muscles easily, say from training outside the app. Should really be straightforward where I tap the muscle that’s still recovering. Would prefer it to be in line with Jeff Nippard and Mike Isratel’s work so I can pick the best exercises for muscle growth scientifically.
You have to pay and it is pretty useless as in you end up putting in what you want to work out 😅
Great for the gym or at home. Designs sensible workouts. The streak function built consistency where previously I’d had none. Great features to challenge yourself, even if you are a solo gym goer. Male/female, Old/young, Beginner/advanced, you can fully tailor the workouts to your needs. Can’t recommend this app enough.
This is a well designed and easy to use app when in the gym to quickly and easily adjust weight/reps/rest timer and log sets. Where I think they’ve really succeeded here is in keeping things simple enough, both in terms of what to do and how to use the app, for the beginner but also by including enough advanced functions for a more advanced lifter. I think there are still somethings that could be improved but IMO it’s worth the yearly subscription.
I’ve been using this app for several years now and it has become my go-to for every gym visit. It’s been great for building muscle and also recovery after an injury. Setup allows for both a home gym and full gym and it will build your workout on known equipment. Recommended.
Might be ok as a concept but in reality it’s a non intuitive app that doesn’t integrate with Strava. Gave up on it after 5 mins in the gym and reverted back to Hevy
Definitely helps me to stay focused and add variety to my workouts.
I took AGES to find a fitness app that did what I needed. Could say what equipment I had at home or at the gym in different profiles so O get my personalised workout wherever. Keeps pushing, tracks progress where you can see how far you come over time. Extremely flexible… can easily tweak workouts if you fancy something different, can re-order exercises by just dragging… can add warm ups, warm downs, super sets, circuits… does it all!! Been using it for a couple of years now. Just brilliant and has improved with updates over time. Oh… gives easy to follow written and video instructions on each exercise as well as what muscles they work. Can search for exercises and easily add based on muscles or equipment… and keeps track of fatigue of each muscle group. All that without all the other apps trying to sell you good plans etc… Really love it! My wife has started using it as well now. Well done Fitbod! Thanks!!!
