A lot of good, with some problems

I like it, I use it, but some things drive me nuts. (1) Exercise search is badly broken. For example, a lot of exercises have the substring “run” in their names, so when I search for “run”, Run is hidden behind the pop up keyboard. It’s very awkward and painful to deal with. (2) Exercises with duration: If I use the built-in timer, it starts counting at the time from the last time I did the exercise. Say, i planked for 1:30 three times two days ago. Today, I start the timer, and it jumps to 1:40. After ten seconds, it says 1:40. That’s not useful. Setting the time to 00:00:00 does not fix the problem. It still jumps ahead. (3) Saving edits to a workout routine is very awkward and painful.

I have used the free version of this app for years. It's simple to use and build a workout routine. The one shortcoming that I've found is that there is no way to track rowing. LOVE THIS APP

Finally gave up

I used Fitlist for years and years (and years). For the most part it did what it was supposed to and I was OK with having paid for it. I would semi-regularly run into annoying bugs, and endure them as I waited for fixes. Now it seems like the author has been asking people to stand by for a major rewrite but that’s been the message for months. I finally threw in the towel and went with Hevy.

To start unlimited workouts you need a subscription to fitlist. Without it, at the max you can create five free workouts. I created my fifth one and when I came back the next day, it was completely gone. This app is way too buggy and I wouldn’t recommend it.

When’s the next update!

This app has not been updated in a long time…since iOS 14. I enjoy the app but it fails to sync with the Apple Watch. I have twitted, sent emails, and messaged fitlist within their app and so far no replies. I have downloaded a competing app called Strong and so far it’s better than Fitlist.

I’ve been using this app for years and super simple. I use it to track my cardio and nothing else. I probably could do more with it.

I use this to track a workout I already know. It lets you load your last set to see what you lifted.

Love how this app is compatible with Apple Watch. As a UX designer, I must commend the UX team that designed the Apple Watch interface and interactions. I also love phone app cause it's so simple to use. A lot of apps out there are just fluff and include things that you don't need or are simply annoying. This app is easy to use and gives you what you exactly needs. Track weight reps and sets. You can see your progress and calendar as well. No annoying notifications or anything. I would recommend to include a calendar for more than a year and ability to open the app online on a computer. I think this will help to backup the data.

Good App but needs some work

I love that I can create my own program as well as track my progress along the way. However, there are bug issues that need to be addressed like displaced information when you go to another tab or screen. Also, there isn’t an option to delete a routine and there should be. There is a white space where the previous routine was, but that should be deleted instead of a white space there. It is a paid product, so please be more attentive to bug fixes and features.
