Dreißig Jahre nachdem Freddy Fazbear's Pizza seine Pforten geschlossen hat, sind die Ereignisse, die sich dort abgespielt haben, nicht mehr als ein Gerücht und eine Kindheitserinnerung – doch die Besitzer von "Fazbear's Fright: Die Horror-Attraktion" sind fest entschlossen, die Legende wieder aufleben zu lassen und das Erlebnis für die Besucher so authentisch wie möglich zu gestalten, indem sie sich größte Mühe dabei geben, alles zu finden, was die Jahrzehnte der Vernachlässigung und des Verfalls überlebt haben könnte.

Zuerst waren es nur leere Behältnisse, eine Hand, ein Haken oder eine alte Puppe aus Pappmaché, doch dann machte man eine bemerkenswerte Entdeckung...
