## FixCyprus Description
FixCyprus is a mobile application to report problems in the road network infrastructure affecting road safety in Cyprus.
Specifically, through the FixCyprus mobile application, every citizen, once registered, can create reports accompanied by a photo, location, and comments, which highlights problems in the road network infrastructure related to road safety. These reports may concern damages, vandalism and other risks to infrastructures related to the road network. After a report is created, it will be automatically forwarded to the corresponding district office of the Public Works Department (PWD) based on the geographic location of the report. Through a web portal, the district offices of the PWD will evaluate the reports, and provided they meet the terms and conditions of the application, they will be assigned to the authorities responsible for managing the problems recorded in each report.

The authorities will be notified through a web portal and will be responsible for scheduling a repair and fixing it. The FixCyprus app users will be able to track the status of their reports through the app's report history.

This integrated solution aims to reduce the need for regular road network inspections with the contribution of the citizens and the use of technologies such as geographical information systems, mobile applications, and the internet to collect issues affecting the road network infrastructure for a quick response from maintenance authorities. In addition, this application will improve the communication between citizens and government while at the same time will increase road safety in Cyprus.

## FixCyprus Reviews in Cyprus

### ***** "Amazing app!"
Very good app! Really nice idea and really helpful! We all need to put our hands together by doing the things we are great at to make Cyprus a lot better place to live.
-- LemonAid🍋⛑️, 2024-10-02

### *---- "Login is not working"
The app says it’s on maintenance
-- Volodya262, 2024-05-30

### ***-- "Improvements needed"
Good try yes , but you should allow users to upload any picture from library and use the location on map to find the exact spot. Is not always easy to stop on busy streets to take a photo , risking our lives to make a report which will take a year or never to be solved.

There is no support line , no method to contact app developers, or the authority to ask for an update for your report or edit the existing report pou made, with better photo , or add something on text. There is not clear timeline when something will be solved or not. You just report and pray that
-- alexandros911, 2024-03-20

### ***-- "Can't use the photo library"
...to send a photo. But i can use the selfie feature. Ridiculous
-- Skonte, 2023-08-13

### ***-- "Incomplete App"
Didn’t expect anything else from the amateurism that clouds Cypriots. It lets you connect but if you already have a picture in your phone library, you cannot load it up and send it! 👍🏻 Very disappointed from UCY and the so called Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence! Great idea but not well thought off!
-- EliasDem, 2022-10-03

### ***** "Very good application"
Excellent application with all the appropriate features to report a problem about the Cyprus roads
-- Helele_1234, 2022-10-01
