Phone number verification locks you out of account. I already verified my phone number but there is currently not button to sign in, and the app is either broken or developers had a serious lack over oversight when adding phone number verification.

As other reviews mentioned, at best this is an app for bullying.. However, the moderation system makes the app unusable. They allow flagrant bullying while they mute others for extremely petty or biased reasons. Not to mention they have an appeals process that they've self proclaimed to be fully inept. Overall i'd avoid this app entirely.

Thank you for updating the app so I can see what violation I broke. The anonymity is tedious for users and I’m glad it’s being recognized.

I use Fizz often and I have a few badges left to collect, though the “SIMP” badge doesn’t seem to be functioning properly. I’ve had the top post of the day several times with the crush category but it doesn’t unlock it for me. Additionally, the badges are my incentive to keep posting so I would love if there was more for me to accomplish. Maybe make one for being at the top of the leaderboard? Or make one for tons of down votes? That would be hilarious and challenging. Also my friends with samsung devices really want fizz but they are unable to get it. The last thing I might recommend is a chat option for mods to communicate and also help make the platform safer and more user friendly.

I just got muted for the second week in a row because people want to abuse the moderation system. I just got muted AGAIN for absolutely no reason! An anonymous person made a post that said “does anybody want some head this morning” and I JOKINGLY SAID “did you brush your teeth yet?” And I just got muted for ANOTHER WEEK after being unmuted from a the PAST week!! And you guys never responded after telling me to send you guys an email. And the reason why my post was got removed doesn’t even correlate to what was said!!! The report system is being ABUSED. This is getting ridiculous.

Update: I just deleted fizz because I keep getting banned every other day for absolutely nothing. I feel like I’m being targeted by the developers and walking on eggshells making posts because I don’t know what’s gonna get me banned for a week and what’s not. It’s overkill at this point.

After a disastrous launch where basically no one joined the app, the posts fell off entirely after about a month. Around a month before my college’s fall quarter, when other colleges started their fall quarters, there was a huge influx of posts talking about being in class and calling the college by the wrong name. The obvious bots never repost or reply, and posts started getting hundreds of upvotes after a summer of maybe 10 max. The developers clearly use bots to make their app seem more alive, and it ruins the point of this app.

When launching at my school, the administration is obviously using fake engagement to boost the app. Everything from fake likes (over 300 in 1 hour from an app that no one has) to fake posts that are just verge college memes with the school name thrown into it. I was genuinely excited to see something like YikYak without all the things that I hate about YikYak, but for some god awful reason we need to be propping up our dead anonymous app with instagram screenshots of girls who go to the school with captions “she’s so fine” or names of people I know with a “crush” flare next to it. All with over 100 likes despite the fact that no one at my school would like that stuff.

TLDR: this app is dead internet theory out in full force. Save your time, don’t even entertain it in its current state.

The Anonymous factor was all fun and games when it was in its first week after that of course dram drama drama. It hurt my small campus in more ways than I can count if it wasn’t anonymous it might be alright but that factor creates utter chaos.
