I’ve had this app on my 14 pro. 
Just upgraded to the 16 pro max and I’m greeted with a message saying I can’t use after 30 days without buying a grip!!!

Well I won’t be buying one. 

Simply because I cannot choose anything above 12mp in auto jpeg. 
The results are meh at best.  

If you want me to buy your grip. You allow me the freedom to choose between either the 12mp/24mp or 48mp for myself.  

For once Apple native camera app and image quality have actually become better.  Making me question why I’d keep this.

The grip allowed me to use my iPhone like a full DSLR the ability to control the phone one handed with ease was brilliant, I managed to get fantastic photos with ease. Love this grip, expensive but worth it, also the app is great, easy to use and intuitive.

I used the app with my grip to take pictures of my granddaughter receiving medals at the end of a gymnastics competition. I went to view the pictures but they were not in my icloud. I opened the app and noted it said it was processing the pictures. 24 hours later it said the same. Another 4 hours on and the pictures were gone. Nowhere to be seen. Hence not impressed.

I watched the fantastic video on you tube, The ultimate Guide to Fjorden, and was completely hooked. Such a great presentation that I just had to have one. Needless to say it has delivered in every respect. How did I ever live without it. It makes your bulky DSLR redundant.

The app seemed good, but got stuck on a page where it wanted me to pair with a fjorden grip which I don’t have. Hadn’t seen a way to adjust virtual f-stops to accommodate a longer shutter speed for snow photography anyway, so deleting this.

The case is completely useless for carrying all the components i.e. the grip and handle plate. I don’t use everything unless I’m on a shoot. Certainly don’t fit the grip for everyday phone use. Need a properly sized case.

I don’t generally leave reviews but as a professional photographer who wanted more out of my iPhone I decided to bite the bullet and order the grip and download the app.

Upon arrival, I registered through the app and hey presto! my iPhone has become a valuable source of photography.

With its range of controls and customisation this app is now my default go to. The only thing I could ask for is the ability to shoot 48mp in auto which is occasionally useful, but otherwise having the ability to use ‘proper controls’ such as zoom and exposure settings via the grip totally transforms the phone.

A very worthwhile addition.

For quite a while this was the only app that gave manual controls without a subscription, which is VERY important for photographers.

Unfortunately I go to use this app recently and find the developers have completely locked out access to the camera unless you buy the advertised grip accessory.

1/10 do not reccomend, buy a real camera instead of their stupid grip, manual controls are completely free of charge on my Canon 7D, no subscription or accessories needed.

I always have my iPhone with me, they say the best camera is the one you have with you. Having photographed weddings professionally and given all that up, I still wanted a camera for trips etc. a cheap old Fuji was just too slow and not as sharp as I wanted so I grabbed the Fjorden grip! It’s great, tactile buttons and the familiar shutter button back. Linked with Moment lenses I have my only little pocket mirrorless.
Would like to see some little additions like setting a slowest shutter speed for example.
