App keeps crashing and will not let me sign in with my regular account. I have also tried using FB and Apple accounts to login and nothing. It crashes and goes straight to the create an account screen.

Great app and service

D_to_the_J on

I’ve been using this app as a way to find great deals on foods I can freeze or use right away. When there are issues, customer service is great and speedy. Just remember to check the pick up dates, because they will toss the food if you don’t pick it up, then you have to get customer service involved. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for great deals!

Liked it. Mess ups get treated diff at diff locations of the same store!

RESPONSE. Don’t gaslight me about me not liking change. You are also responding to old parts of my review, put in over time. I see in the app store details you are tracking us way more than you should. Scary and seems obvious you are collecting and selling our info. Explain and justify. IT’S PRIVACY TIME all over. I see now that’s enough to delete the app. I update my comments on FoodHero, it doesn’t do the tracking you do. Then you added a profit fee on top. Then you made it harder for stores to take care of customers, not improved. After that, how about improving choosing locations, adding a code to scan for pickup, make it easier to choose a location. When looking at an area, stores not in the map view now show at the bottom and you can’t scroll, new and improved, didn’t do that before! It used to highlight a location in that area , why not auto choose it then? No clunky and still have to click more. Stores close together make it clunkier and slower. When you choose and area on the map, it scrolls stores that are NOT in the map!! Didn’t do that before. Actually, when you a choose a map area I now I see it selects stores from way farther away!!! So much better!! Have favourites and not have to use the annoying map. Use Apple Pay so I don’t have to enter my card, you aren’t that private nor secure, given so many companies are being hacked. Customer service used to be better from stores although varied. Stores OFTEN make pricing mistakes and now they say they can’t fix it, so the food goes to waste. If there is a mistake or the food is bad, stores won’t do anything now, so our money is tied up for weeks waiting for email customer service. There isn’t a quick and easy, in app way to report a problem. You are all about virtual yet the app isn’t great for that. Yeah, no, bring back the old app and don’t gaslight. Don’t release an app that is worse. Downgraded my rating due to these issues I now see, and your response. ___ NEW VERSION Flashier and more painful. I’d rather have the old one back. Update. Often an ok experience It does vary by location. They have raised the prices by charging a profit fee as they couldn’t get more out of Loblaw and others. Far better than food hero and Sobeys. Sometimes they mess up and the staff in the store wont help anymore like they used to. So the usual more greed and less support. You have to message them and they may refund you. A few times When products weren’t there after purchased, usually the mature experienced

Like saving money, but app was better when no service fee attached to purchases.

Orders are Unreliable

AneeshaSmithers on

Canada

It’s disappointing picking up an order only to find that the store has misplaced many if not all of my items. It seems to be happening more frequently, of late.

Problème

Adam8855 on

Beaucoup de problèmes et modalité de remboursement en cas de souci très compliquée

Decent app but items are often missing during pickup

palejji on

Canada

More often than not, there are missing items during pickup. Flashfood has also removed the option for the stores to give a refund to customers in such cases, so there is a 2-3 week wait (or more) to get a refund for items that were missing from the fridge during pickup. Flashfood needs to be firm with the stores so their staff take more care about what items they hand to customers. I’ve personally been handed wrong items and I had to give it back and switch it for the right items. The service could be great if they take the effort to fix these issues.
