This is the same problem I had with Noteflight, which was the composition software I used previously. That was the whole reason I used Flat, but I guess I was wrong. I use this on my iPad and have enjoyed hearing my arrangements etc... on this device. Highly recommend it! -- CJCappella, 2020-08-27 ### ***-- "Good, but app often does not save changes" Hellp I have used flat since 2015 (on the website originally), was a beta tester for the app, and I find it a mostly great service that, aside from when they added a paid service and made the free service less able (I didn’t particularly like that, though it probably helps to support the developers), has improved with each update. There is however, a problem with the app which has led me to mostly neglect it in favour of the website version or other services which is that often an action I take will not be saved. For example, I attempted to move the marimba part on top of the xylophone in a score, and when I clicked the green tick it had not moved at all. Additionally when I leave the score most or all of what I have done is lost, meaning that the app is, at least for me, useless (If it helps for debugging I am running iOS 11 on ipad air 2). I hope this problem is fixed soon as I enjoy this service but because of this I cannot use flat on a portable device. Overall, the service is great but the mobile app definitely needs major bug fixes in order to make it match in quality the flat.io website. The service, being mostly free, has been incredibly helpful over the years (in the website form). Its probably best if all features should all be completed and introduced before people start using it like make a tutorial. Another thing is that when I played my songs on phone, they sounded very off and bad. Some notes were played when I didn’t put them there. Timing was great though which made some part of the songs sound good. You can improve and fix this and when you’re finished with all the upcoming features, I’ll try it again.
