I fly a lot in Asia and FlightStats just doesn’t have access to up-to-the-minute information I need when I’m traveling. This is true in major hubs and secondary airports; it regularly reports flights as on time when the arrival time has come and gone; and is pretty useless across the board for details like gate changes and baggage claim.

I refer to the app for data like what flights are available for a certain route (and even then there are airports where only half the day’s flights are listed) but definitely go elsewhere when I need to know the latest on a specific flight. 

I’m sure it works better in North America for example, but not so much here.
