App heute mal getestet, sieht eigentlich ganz cool aus, hatte jetzt noch keinen Flug damit gemacht und weiß nicht wie die live performed. Einen Flug der Vergangenheit gab es leider nicht, generell wäre es vllt cool Routen ohne Datum hinzuzufügen bzw. dass man sich die selbst ausdenken kann. (Wenn es einem um die Kilometer geht) dann kann man ja einfach sagen im Jahr 2022 von X nach Y und gut ist. Dann ist zwar die Airline nicht dabei aber manchmal hat man die genauen Daten ja nicht parat. Ich würde an sich gerne die Pro Version haben wenn ich das noch weiter getestet habe aber 300€ ist schon deutlich zu viel. Dann müsste man das ja über 6 Jahre nutzen damit das die Jahres subscription reinholt… wenn lifetime 50€ oder so wäre und annual 30 oder so würden locker viel mehr Leute das kaufen. Für 300€ kann man lieber ein Wochenende irgendwo hin fliegen Update: nutze die App aktiv und hatte auch schon Pro, an sich gut aber immernoch ist lifetime so teuer, dass ich lieber gar nichts kaufen werde. Rentiert sich nicht für 300€ und Pride Update auch unnötig das braucht man gar nicht erst machen, das andere App Logo passt schon

Tail numbers of planes are never displayed. So the app is not very useful without this crucial information.

Told me flight was delayed by 27 mins even though screens in airport said it was on time. It boarded on time, landed 12 mins early. Glad we swung by the gate just in case. Won't use again since I can't trust it.

Die App ist super, schön designed und perfekt an iPhones vor allem die, welche eine Dynamic Island besitzen angepasst. Also an sich nichts zu meckern. Jedoch muss man für jegliche Funktionen massen an Abo-Geldern bezahlen: Du willst live Benachrichtigungen…BEZAHLEN!!!, du willst live Aktivitäten? (Anzeige des Flugs in der Dynamic Island)… BEZAHLEN!!!. Sozusagen alle Funktionen, für welche man diese App benutzen würde kosten Geld. Wirklich sehr schade, vor allem bei solch einem riesigen Potenzial dieser App.

Finde die App Flighty jetzt schon deutlich besser als z.B. „App in the Air“! Aufgeräumter, moderner und deutlich bessere Übersichten. Läuft stabil und hängt nicht. Sehr durchdacht. Wenn noch weitere Funktionen dazukommen, wie z.B. Flüge aus der Vergangenheit manuell hinzu zu fügen, die nicht im System gefunden werden können, dann wird die App noch stärker. Auch super toll finde ich die Funktionen zum Teilen von Informationen von Flügen und so weiter. Einfach quasi eine „Boardkarte“ (wie früher aus Papier) als Info mit Freunden / Instagram teilen macht Freude. Wirklich super App. Auch gute Apple Watch App.

The app looks nice, but this kind if app lives or dies based on the data accuracy and the data here is just not that good. I fly about a dozen times year within Europe, and had probably that many flights with the app. Gates are wrong, it never knows about delays, incoming plane is almost universally wrong, and on a couple flights it got stuff in a loop spamming me with constant notifications for a phantom tail number change. I’ve paid for a year, and will keep using it for that time. But the data quality will need to go way up if I’m going to renew it.

Watching my flight (even offline) live in the app is very nice, but I can watch that on any random screen in every international flight anyway. What would have mattered for me while having my active Pro membership would have been that I would have gotten gate information before finding it out via the airport screens 1,5 hours before takeoff, being informed about a delay of my flight first via Flighty and not (again) via the screens in another airport (both cases happened to me in Asia), and third actually being informed about where to pick up my luggage instead (AGAIN) finding out first with the screens in the airport and even spotting my case before any information showed up in the app of where to find my case. Thank god for the AirTag in my bag. The promises of this app are big, but the execution is not. It looks good, but doesn’t deliver. Three stars for mediocre performance at a premium price (that I’m willing to pay for a premium service!).

Very functional and reliable re flight delays, gate changes, baggage belts etc. Very fast, easy to use, works across all my iDevices flawlessly. Love the calendar management and the Friend‘s Flights features. Beautiful interface visualizing all the future and past flights. Perfect.

Eine gute App mit großem Potenzial. Leider sind die Daten oft sehr verzögert (was beispielsweise die Option „wo ist mein Flugzeug“ unbrauchbar macht) und auch die Darstellung ist verbesserungsbedürftig. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt ist die fehlende Möglichkeit alte manuell nachzutragen (das zu integrieren sollte ja eigentlich nicht so schwer sein). Es wird jedoch viel an der App gearbeitet was mich optimistisch stimmt. Dazu ist sie meiner Meinung nach im Bezug auf Flight Tracking ihrem direkten Konkurrenten (App in the Air) schon meilenweit voraus.
