Flight cancelled, first to know thanks to Flighty
I had booked a flight to China through Booking.com (as it was the cheapest there and I didn’t wanna deal with the China Southern website as it’s very bad)
Fast forward a few weeks and I see in Flighty that my flight got cancelled. In Flighty, I looked up an alternative flight on the same day and found one.
I got in touch with Booking.com (who didn’t tell me it got cancelled yet! I had to get in touch myself). Because I was the first person from that cancelled flight to get in touch, they were able to get my upgrades to Row 1 Business Class for free.
If it wasn’t for Flighty, I wouldn’t have free business class row 1 soon, so thanks!
(Also app itself is great, let’s not forget about that)
Only complaint, is price…
Been using for almost three years, coming up soon to renew and it’s always a struggle whether I continue or not… if I could only find another app that is just as stable and works with my watch and dynamic island as well. Not sure as always if I renew.. probably not the next time..
Not worth the money
This app is not delivering the information they are promising because the tale number is missing most of the time. The tale number is the most important for predicting the departing time
Imported old flights are a mess
While the app is nice for actual flights and upcoming flights, the historic data option is very poor. Importing flights is a big mess, with wrong dates and wrong flights and really hard to correct. Also is it not possible to import your flights out of other databases / apps. Correcting all the mistakes or uploading them yourself is very tedious and if the database of the app doesn’t recognise your flight it is impossible to manually adjust.
So only use this app for upcoming flights, not to get an overview of all your flights
Really good
A must have app as a frequent flyer!!! Amazing statistics and helpful information! If I could recommend anything to the developers, I would love to see for instance, a feature that allows you to, when looking at for instance what weekdays you have most flights, to able to click on that day and see which flights you flew on that particular day! Just an idea! But once again, Amazing app!!!
Great app, but promises not delivered
Bought app to simplify travel - ‘where’s my plane’ was for me the usp. However, it is never available ahead of time. Info exists, as day prior to departure info is already available online at airport website.
Been reporting data issue all the time via ‘report data issue’ - never got a reply nor seen any improvement.
True Pitty.
Pricing is really bad
I really enjoyed the app but I find the latest pricing model incredibly shady. Charging $4 per WEEK with no monthly option, just to push you to the annual one that is $4 per month. Great app but super disappointed with the pricing plans.
Decent but not always reliable
Overall decent
Quite unreliable in retrieving tail-numbers and aircraft information, particularly for low-cost carriers in Europe and no option to manually add information.
Amazing app, missing sustainability information
Love the app, as sustainability conscious individual I would only love to have an indication of emitted CO2 emissions from my flights. Would be a great addition to the interesting insights already provided and might attract a new customer base as this information is already available
Until the data is accurate not worth the money
I paid for this app, assuming it would provide all the info from the airline, flightradar24 etc in one place, making my life easy. unfortunately the flights I took I had to report missing data every time (terminal, gate, tail no, delays), so now I am checking all the apps I used to use AND flighty instead of flighty only.
Could be great, but without trust worthy data it is not
