The 2-minute rule says: just commit to two minutes — then decide whether to keep going. Most of the time, once you've started, you'll keep working far longer. FLIP is a single-screen timer built around that idea. —————————————— HOW IT WORKS • Tap once to start a 2-minute kickoff timer. • When 2 minutes are up, flip your phone face-down to commit to a 20-minute deep-work block. • When deep work ends, turn your phone sideways to take a 5-minute break. • Hold anywhere to cancel — a segmented bar fills with synchronized haptics so the gesture is unmistakable. That's it. No accounts, no settings, no menus. —————————————— DESIGNED FOR FOCUS • Single-screen interface with a retro-digital typeface and edge-to-edge color fill that grows with the timer • Haptic feedback on every state change so you don't have to look at the screen • Lock-screen and Dynamic Island Live Activity — keep the countdown visible without unlocking your phone • A short chime when each phase ends so you can put the phone down and focus —————————————— PRIVATE BY DESIGN • 100% on-device. No accounts, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, no servers. • No data collection. The privacy policy fits on one page. —————————————— WHO IT'S FOR • People who reach for their phone instead of starting a task • Knowledge workers running Pomodoro-like sessions • Students looking for a low-friction focus timer • Anyone who wants the smallest possible app between them and beginning a task Beat procrastination by promising yourself two minutes. Then flip the phone. ## FLIP Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/9e/b0/12/9eb01228-71a7-5d66-4498-ebd599e97488/1.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/45/1a/59/451a591d-2c6d-ca82-2245-f5586a49c60d/2.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/39/82/1d/39821de2-d202-1081-93fa-3a3a6dbaa573/3.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/da/c3/ea/dac3eaf6-ec55-7256-136c-bd9149d5a9e4/4.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/e9/33/1b/e9331b0b-9625-d0c7-1d8a-efc5bc32e6f0/5.png/1242x2688.png) ## FLIP Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 1 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## FLIP Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/united-states) - [Bermuda](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/bermuda) - [Brunei](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/brunei) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/chile) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/colombia) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/denmark) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/ecuador) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/estonia) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/egypt) - [Guyana](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/guyana) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/indonesia) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/iceland) - [Kenya](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/kenya) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/kazakhstan) - [Sri Lanka](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/sri-lanka) - [Lithuania](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/lithuania) - [Madagascar](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/madagascar) - [North Macedonia](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/north-macedonia) - [Mauritius](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/mauritius) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/nigeria) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/norway) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/philippines) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/singapore) - [Slovenia](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/slovenia) - [Slovakia](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/slovakia) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/thailand) - [Tunisia](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/tunisia) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/turkey) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/vietnam) - [Bahrain](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/bahrain) - [Yemen](https://apptail.io/app/flip-focus-timer-fbLA/yemen) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
