### ****- "Great start"
I enjoy this app and am really learning so far. I decided to get premium and jumped into the intermediate courses (there are no lesson until April I think). I’ve witnessed a few issues and actually have screenshots. There have been times where the sentences were grammatically correct, but because I didn’t see or choose the capitalized word, it became wrong. There are some other sentences and grammatical structures that don’t make sense, and I hope the lessons come out to explain them. I see so much potential in this app. Even doing the beginner’s courses for two weeks helped me recall words and conjugations I haven’t done in years. I start French as well, and I’m only on the beginner course there. My sister is fluent and she has been complementing me on both my Spanish and French (mostly Spanish, and supportive with French). She went as far to say that I sound fluent. I really enjoy the app. I know it can benefit from some fine tuning.

There are some bugs which can be annoying but overall it’s a good app. Not and end all be all app for language, but it’s helpful

### **--- "Can’t recommend. Choose Duolingo for now."
I’ve been following it since it was announced, and I was so happy that it came out, but the state it came out in should be a beta at best. It feels like there’s nothing to do, even if there is, and it just dumps you into the app with very little tutorials. I’m not asking for handholding, but I’ve been waiting years and I’m now dumped into an app with honestly annoying music and controls that don’t give feedback when pressed. I chose Dutch, which they said is incomplete, so maybe a bit of this is on me, but as far as I’m given, there are flashcards that do nothing for me, a matching bomb game, and a matching game where you type things out even if you haven’t seen these words before. There isn’t even the main mode open, which seems like something that should have been done first for every language. The animations are cute, but it’s stiff and doesn’t feel high quality for the time I spent waiting. And as I said before, the music is really annoying. It just plays in repeat the whole time. And pressing anything gives like no feed back in visuals or audio. It honestly makes me really sad since I looked up to the maker, personally wanting to be a polyglot and sharing their condition, but to receive the app in this state shattered my rise colored glasses a bit.
This app has potential, but it’s not ready for the public. The maker is a language learner, not an app programmer. I get he got help, but for the hype he made, he should have given this more time or hired better people. Just stick to Duolingo until this all has time to actually be made usable.

I was a backer in the Kickstarter for this and was really excited for this app to come out. Unfortunately some of the same problems from the beta testing are still present and I’m not learning the language from these games. I also feel like the beginner levels teach you words that you don’t need to know as a beginner and slang/familiar vocabulary is not what I look for in learning a language until much higher levels. So much money was raised for this but I almost feel like more time and effort was put into the aesthetics than to the educational aspect. I hope that more time is put into the lessons.

### ****- "Making Progress"
While this app has a lot of bugs and things that it needs to work on, I love this app. I’m learning Korean and it has helped so much with grammar(more than any other language learning app I’ve used). It’s helped me create my own sentences better, and even shows me structure, and when and where I need to correct my sentences! 

The negatives to me are just that the app makes my phone hot very fast, and sometimes it crashes. I also thing the naming of the lessons need to be changed numbering wise, and lastly that the specific lesson that teaches about 이/가 needs to be introduced a bit earlier simply because I had to use those particles before I learned about them.

This game has been in development since I was 9 and yet it’s still it nothing like what it was promised to be. Boring battles, boring visuals, and almost no support for 60% of the languages on the app. Also that girl character is very annoying.

### ***** "The Ultimate Game Tutor"
I played the Beta version of the app, so maybe I’m a bit more patient - but the structure of this app is a GAME CHANGER. Rather than just memorizing vocabulary and different sentences, you actually learn the structure of your language throughout your journey. Of course, the gamified nature of the app is lovable and fun, but the real value in this app is the deeper context and understanding that you gain over time. Stoked for the future of this app.

Aside from the abysmal state it launched in… The moment I heard the dull, monotone AI teacher pronounce “quiere”  like “key-air” while doing the Spanish wayfinder lessons, I knew this app was fundamentally flawed. 

This app is cheap and lazy and not at all hand crafted. This is the work of AI technology and cheap digital assets. Which makes me wonder, where did all that money from kickstarter and donations go to? Cause it sure wasn’t Fluyo. Hospital bills maybe? 🤔  

I’m better off with the apps I’ve been using as they as far superior. Which is sad, cause if u followed the journey of Fluyo like I did, u would know this was supposed to be fun and “the app to replace all apps”. Yah… what a joke. It’s neither.
