Out of all of the timers I’ve downloaded, this is definitely my favourite one. Do NOT underestimate this app - it’s so extensive and sm content 🤭
It’s got an RPG-style character builder and weapon/skill tree progression, daily quests, a storyline (!?!?!?), very good UI, online modes with friends (!!??!) —all to gamify the studying experience. But most importantly, the timers are very capable; there’s a stopwatch, a countdown, and Pomodoro! It also turns the screen dark to save energy when you flip the phone over. It makes me so excited to study.
One downside of this app is having no offline mode. I guess it’s fine, since this app doesn’t push ads in your face. In these cases, I just use a different focus timer app.
There’s so much to discover here - I don’t even think I have space to list everything, which is really unique for a focus app. It shows how much they wen above and beyond to make this app - so download it and improve your study time! 😆🏰🧙♂️⚔️
Great game! What is Dream dust
Great game works amazing for forcing me to work, what is the dream dust used for and how do you get primary skills? I can only use time coins to upgrade my skills too.
More white noise
Can you add more white noise options since the only one is the clock (like rainfall, nature ambience, and Lofi music)?
Great app
This app is amazing for actually putting down my phone and studying. As someone who frequently plays video games, having an app where I progress my character with studying time is great.
I would love to see an option where we can give suggestions and ideas for the game as I’ve definitely had my fair share.
Not great for ADHD
I'm interested in "gamified" focus apps because I have severe ADHD. Unfortunately, this app may be good for neurotypicals, but it's not ADHD-friendly. It's constantly buzzing my phone with notifications, demanding my attention and distracting me. It contains a ridiculous number of video ads. Way too many. The timer is also bugged and sometimes doesn't keep track of time accurately.
Really well done
I used focus plant before and I just love the art style. So I wanted try out this one and i wasn’t disappointed at all. I love how the devs put the efforts in the app with so many little details and the simple, but well-written story. Plus, even if there’s option to buy some ressources, the game offers you the whole experience without the need to pay for anything which for student is the best experience. Thank you for making such a wonderful app.
Ok at the beginning
Easy to forge epic gear at the beginning, but I’m at level 250 now and I’ve made the same ring probably 80 times and not a single top tier drop. It has been pretty consistently NOT dropping for the past 40 levels. For a study game whose intention is to help you focus, it has deviated from casual gaming to frustrating and draining my time and attention.
Add Pomodoro Timer
Please Add Pomodoro Timer Just Like The Focus Plant. Then The App Will Be Perfect
