Wait time is never accurate and the number of available cars is low and wag below what they advertise Give more realistic wait times there’s no point saying two minutes when it’s going to be 10+

Use value cab aps for better service before you use this app
I tried to book a taxi twice with this app and both times it said 14 mins. I cancelled it and it still charged me cause of their awful service. When I booked with Vaule Cabs I got a booking in 2 mins. Fona cabs is. Terrible service always. I’d recommend trying value cabs before you try with fona cab

Don’t bother pre-booking
They’ll start looking for a driver 3 minutes before your booking time and it’s likely there won’t be any drivers! What exactly is the point of the pre booking option?
What’s going on !!!!
I’ve used the app for the last few years and love it but since the update when pickup location was green and drop off was red and both were changed to black the app has been awful very hard to pre book, no drivers available, app telling you taxi is 2 minutes away and you’ve to chase it up after 20 minutes. This morning I had a hospital appointment pre booked 8:50 phone no taxi and when I phoned it would then be too late to pick me up for me to reach hospital for appointment, don’t know what’s happening with this app but it’s definitely responsible for losing customers.
Quality has dropped massively
Recently Fona cab have become very very unreliable. The new feature on the app, logs your request, but waits ages for a driver to reply. Recently I tried to pre book a cab a day in advance and when it didn’t arrive I was told no cabs were in the area😤 The person I spoke to seemed to think this was ok when Indicated what was the point of pre-booking she dismissed my question. Basically, what used to be a very reliable service is irratic and unreliable
