Theres no phone support, no text support, and the email support replies are generic, just copied pasted content from FAQs.

FONGO MOBILE INTERNET USAGE
When you're connected on a call, Fongo Mobile uses 0.5 MB per minute, so a 500 MB data plan will get you 1000 minutes of talk time. If you're calling on WiFi, you can call nearly for as long as you'd like. When you're not on a call, Fongo Mobile uses a minimal amount of data to listen for incoming calls.
IMPORTANT
• Stable internet is required with download/upload speeds of over 2 Mbps
• If you disable notifications, you will not receive incoming calls or texts
• For 911 calls, use your device’s built-in phone app for safety (no SIM card required)

By far the best VOIP phone number , and also if you pay it’s great phone number and data.

It used to be ok untill recently. Overwhelmed with adds, selling numbers to scammers, removed few good options. Constantly interfering with pushing home phone and long distance. Must be getting too greedy. Seems related to some overseas agencies which call all afternoon from different time zone. No more bock unknown callers option. Not what's promissed. Creepy!

Can’t do anything unless u pay gave a website my phone number, gave me a verification code, can’t see the verification code unless you pay or get credits, tried to get credits from a survey, did the survey and put in my postal code, survey didnt work

Best VOIP system in Canada
I use both the pro version for business and the app on my phone. Best way to keep in touch when I am travelling overseas.
Unreliable and buggy
Horrible app - super unreliable. Phone calls don’t go through, and if they do - the quality is rubbish. Voicemails don’s show up. Ads swarming - even though I pay for texts, I have to watch the ads before reading my text. As soon as I could get off this app and get my number - I will. Highly do not recommend!!!
Lifetime Ad Free Purchase Removed
They took away my lifetime ad-free purchase and replaced it with 2 year ad free credit. I use the app occasionally, a few weeks here or there and I really do not like ads. After the ad free period, the pricing will be a monthly subscription for ad removal, so I'll be looking for alternatives. Otherwise it's one of the best phone apps out there.
