## Fongo Works for Business Description
Extend your Fongo Works cloud-based phone system with the companion app.

You must have an active Fongo Works account (created at www.fongoworks.com) to use this app.

Identify Incoming Calls
• Visually decipher between personal calls and business calls

Caller ID Options
• Call-out publicly from any of your business’s phone numbers, or privately.

Message Team Members
• Use the instant messaging feature for internal chats with your team

View Call History
• See past calls you answered, and calls you missed

Conference Calls
• Instantly enter your system’s conference calling service

Check Voicemail
• Listen to your extension’s voicemails or share them via email, all within the app

Note: The login credentials to sign into the Fongo Works mobile app are not the same as the credentials used to sign in to your online dashboard.
Have your Fongo Works group manager activate the app on the Fongo Works management dashboard to get your Fongo Works app login credentials.

IMPORTANT

• Stable internet is required with download/upload speeds of over 2 Mbps 
• If you disable notifications, you will not receive incoming calls or texts
• For 911 calls, use your device’s built-in phone app (no SIM card required)

I’d say a fantastic Canadian company. We use it for our small business. It’s got all the great features such as auto attendant, Hunt group, extensions, messaging through the app between extensions, voice quality is flawless on LTE or Wi-Fi, works with Siri calls, the portal was easy to set up, the support was quite responsive.  No complaints!

This is a great service. All in all it works well for my business. The one thing I have a hard time with is entering phone numbers. It misses numbers sometimes. It might just be my phone but I don’t have a problem with dialling from the regular phone app.

The timer can sometimes go on for 20 seconds afterwards. Sometimes calls just drop. I test drove Fongo Works as I have a Fongo number that I use frequently for personal use. I thought that it would be similar. I need texting for my company, but it’s only available intra-office. Meaning only between staff members. There’s also no ability to call and go directly to a live person (at least I couldn’t find it.) I’m sad that I can’t choose Fongo based solely on not having SMS ability. I had to look elsewhere to have my 1-800 number supported with texting ability.

I hope Fongo adds texting from anywhere soon as it’s a key feature of my company’s phone line.

Otherwise, it’s a functional app that has some security features built into it, such as verifying an app rather than logging into it for the first time.

The overall functionality is 4/5 - in this day and age, many people reaches out by using SMS. This app does not allow you to receive text messages (SMS), unless the sending party is also a FongoWorks user, which significantly diminished the texting functionality substantially.

OMG, so I just set up my business number to forward to Fongo, created extensions, individual voicemails, receptionist, emergency lines, customized how calls are received and transferred. Then I played around with incoming calls and I love the ability to transfer to another line from within the app. It’s free and genius! Thank you FONGO!!!! Please, don’t stop, don’t bankrupt or sell the service, it’s perfect. I’m gonna make sure all my friends know about it and spread the word. I love that it’s Canadian. I hate that there is no one to call (customer service), but the email response is quite prompt. Highly recommend to anyone with small business, who wants to inflate their professional appearance and customize their free virtual receptionist.

Fongo Works is perfect for a new business or start-up. I have been using their services for a few months with zero issues. The virtual assistant and voicemail features are truly amazing.
My only recommendation would be to add txt msg support. You cannot receive txt msgs at all and as a new business, i might be missing out on potential sales if i cannot see incoming txts. Please add an option to see incoming msgs at a minimum!
