Foodnoms Macro Protein Tracker Reviews

Wanted to love by watch app is worthless

mulderc on

United States

This is an impressive app that gives a incredibly simple and smooth interface to a product category that usually have awful user experiences. My issue though is that for as well throughout the app is, the watch app is worthless. In tracking my diet I have found it critical to be able to open a watch app and add common foods for the day. That just is t possible with this app. I otherwise love what they are doing but what they have for a watch app is almost insulting as all it does is show you your totals for the day and has no interaction. I hope they work on this because otherwise it is an excellent app.

Great app

Best free calorie tracking app definitely if you don’t want to spend money

Great Macro-Tracking App

cavebeest on

United States

I’ve been using this app for over a year and it’s awesome; this app provides useful bar graphs for calories and nutrients, has a large library of foods to choose from, and lets me scan bar codes or nutrition labels. If I wasn’t broke I’d totally get the plus subscription!

Track Fiber

Great app, but I wish you’d let me select my top four things to track and include all the different vitamins, vibes, etc as options. Everyone has different health goals and needs.

The best food tracker I’ve used (and I’ve used a lot)

sjames821 on

United States

Easily the most to the point, concise and useful tracker I’ve used. Not bloated, minimalistic design, and the ability to track things like net carbs, added sugars, and micro nutrients is extremely helpful. The daily summary tab is also a great at-a-glance view option, and the ability to add your own meal sections is something I have not seen done this intuitively. Highly recommend.

Wanted to like it but trying another app

KFaul on

I really wanted to like this app. There are good parts like having some accountability on my Apple Watch. However, I plan to carb cycle while counting macros. This app does NOT have a feature I discovered during the free trial that would allow for have goals set for various days on the week. For me that is a deal breaker.

May not be perfect, but it works well for me AND the support is FANTASTIC

May not be perfect, but it works well for me AND the support is FANTASTIC … I had previously submitted a very critical review … HOWEVER the app support has been GREAT and all my questions, concerns and issues were solved.

Premium subscription model

Really unnecessary to block such basic functionality behind a paywall with such a steep buy-in - particularly since it’s a subscription and not a purchase. I want a simple calorie tracker. I don’t give a hoot about any A.I. nonsense. I want to be able to enter drinks. I’d buy that for $20, once. $40/year though? lol no.

Awesome

This app is awesome. I am just starting my weight loss journey and it is incredibly helpful to be able to log my foods throughout the day to make sure to stay on track!
