## FoodSwitch Reviews in Australia

### ****- "Nice app but…"
The app is excellent at scanning items and providing information but scanned items stored in purchases and recents are not retained.
Being able to track purchases over a period greater than 3 weeks would be beneficial.
-- Not bad-33, 2024-09-24

### *---- "does not scan items"
Of the items I scanned - including popular Australian brands - only half where recognised. The scanning facility is difficult to use and is very slow, it did not focus. This app is only half finished at best.
-- moorhouse.d, 2024-08-05

### ***-- "Not working on my IPhone 15 pro max"
Is there an update needed with that latest iOS update issued a week ago?
-- ScottAussie, 2024-05-25

### *---- "Unusable"
I have been waiting for an email to confirm my account for nearly a week. No email has surfaced, not in junk or spam. There is no way to contact the developers to report a bug so I have to leave a bad review here.
-- bathels, 2023-03-27

### **--- "Not store-specific"
I tried to use this app in Aldi and every recommendation was for items in other stores.
This app would benefit from offering a store-specific option. Sometimes I’m not going to shop in three different places and need to know the best options in the shop I’m in.
-- MacKaity, 2023-03-13

### ***-- "Gluten Free"
I had used this app for Gluten free scanning, the new changes does not let me know item is gluten free only healthy choices, disappointed, as I use to use this quite abit.
-- Koo1183, 2022-11-01

### ***-- "App review"
Shows app needs update !!
Want iOS 16 Support
App also crashed when telling me to update
-- muzzie1993, 2022-09-21

### ***-- "Good App Overall"
Great options and information but doesn’t work offline, and sadly both of my nearest supermarkets are black holes.
-- PurpleAirplane, 2022-01-08

### *---- "Login now required"
Only 3 scans if not logged in. Sorry, had to delete.
-- JK'13, 2021-11-14

### *---- "Old version was perfect. This one is rubbish."
This version is not recognising foods I’ve previously scanned - common off the shelf products. No longer appears to use traffic light system of identifying health level of product.
Shame really. Seems authors have put a lot of effort in only to mess it up. Bring back the old app or give us a choice which version to use instead of locking us out of the version that actually worked.
