## FootSteps Description
Never lose your way back. FootSteps records your exact walking path and guides you along it again with a ghost that walks ahead of you.
RECORD EVERY STEP
Start recording and FootSteps tracks your precise GPS path — every turn, every street, every shortcut — along with your real step count, distance and time. Save trails with custom names and tags, and drop waypoints to mark the spots that matter.
GHOST GUIDE
Replay any saved trail with a ghost that stays 50 metres ahead of you. Follow the ghost dot on the map with turn-by-turn voice navigation. If you fall behind, it waits for you.
TAKE ME BACK
One tap reverses your trail and guides you home the exact way you came — ideal for unfamiliar places when you just need to get back.
GUIDE ME — SMART TRAIL MATCHING
Going somewhere you've been before? Pick your destination and FootSteps finds a matching trail from your collection — even if you're starting from a different spot. The ghost picks you up mid-trail and guides you the rest of the way.
LIVE WEATHER
See the current conditions right on your home screen before you head out.
WORKS OFFLINE
No signal? GPS recording and ghost navigation keep working with no connection — only the map background needs data.
SHARE TRAILS WITH FRIENDS
Connect with friends and share your favourite routes as .footsteps files. They can import your trails and follow your ghost guide on their own device.
GOOGLE DRIVE BACKUP
Back up all your trails to your own Google Drive. Switch devices? Restore everything with one tap. Your data stays in your control.
APPLE WATCH
Record trails independently from your wrist. Your watch works even when your phone is at home.
BUILT FOR WALKERS
Whether you're exploring a new neighbourhood, walking to work, or hiking a trail — FootSteps remembers the way so you don't have to.
