The Ford app is everything you need to elevate your Ford journey — all in one place. Access features like remote start, lock and unlock, vehicle stats, and GPS tracking at no extra cost.

· Remote Features*: Get added control with features like remote start, lock and unlock, and more in the palm of your hand.   

· Vehicle Management: Keep track of your fuel or range status, vehicle stats — and use your Phone As A Key — with a simple tap.

· Scheduling Service: Select your preferred dealer and schedule maintenance to keep your Ford running smoothly. 

· Electric Vehicle Features: Check your charge levels, precondition your Ford, and get public charging info all in one place. 

· Connected Services: Activate available trials, purchase plans, or manage services like BlueCruise, the Ford Connectivity Package, and the Ford Security Package.

· GPS Location: Never lose sight of your Ford with GPS tracking.

· Ford App Updates: Updated regularly to give you the latest features and information. 

· Ford Rewards: Access Ford Rewards to redeem points for Ford Service, Accessories, available Connected Services, and more**.

· Over-the-Air Software Updates: Set your software update schedule through the Ford app or directly in your vehicle.

This app does work with my Mach E, but it is extremely basic in comparison to the Tesla or Hyundai apps. There’s no way to tell at a glance whether your vehicle is locked or unlocked, you just have to send a lock command. No way to set the cabin temperature, turning it on just uses the previous settings used. And no way to open the liftgate or open the front compartment from the app (this one would be really handy). Having these features would start to bring the app functionality app to what other manufacturers are doing.

Overall new design is really good but very disappointing you have removed remote start for trailer light check. As someone who tows regularly this was a killer feature I told
lots of people about. Why remove it?  Going to vehicle and navigating to option on the screen seems so backwards when I previously could do it remotely standing next to lights I was checking. Please bring this feature back. It would also be good to be able to adjust climate settings remotely too.

Such a great idea but missing the mark badly, can no longer turn on the lights remotely and I can no longer find the trailer light checking which I used a lot! Poorly thought out, you also need to supply an api so we can integrate with our HomeKit systems.. no security nosense excuses either please.

Very useful app for starting and warming up the car. But, I will start my car and the app will say that there is an issue. I will then close the app and start the app again and then it will say my car is running. This happens quite often. 

Plus I don’t know if your private information on how you drive the car will not be sold to insurance companies. Like what other car companies have done. You have to agree to their policies before you can use the app…
