NOTICE
• Forest is compatible with iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and can be used across these iOS devices with a one-time purchase. The full app with the aforementioned features is available on iPhone and iPad; on Apple Watch you can view live planting session and today’s focus stats. To download or unlock a non-iOS version, it requires a separate purchase. By logging into the same account, your data can be synchronized across all platforms.
• Due to iOS limitations, the Allow List feature is only available on iOS/iPadOS 16 or above. If you’re using a device running iOS/iPadOS 15 or below, your tree will wither when you leave Forest during a planting session.
• Due to budget constraint, the number of real trees each user can plant is limited to five. We will be introducing limited time events that will allow users to plant more real trees. Please follow our social media page or check the in-app announcement for more updates.
• There is only one version of Forest on the App Store. Other apps that are similar and mimics Forest are not developed by the Forest team. Thank you for your support!

SUBSCRIPTIONS & BILLING
Forest offers free features for everyone, and you’re welcome to explore the Plus experience through a free trial.
After the trial period (if available), your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

I used to love this app and would recommend it to all my friends. Now every time I try to plant a tree either the app blocking feature does not work or the app will crash every time I try to open it. I sadly had to uninstall it. Until they fix it, don’t waste your money.

I’ve been using the Forest app for over 5 years and always loved it, but the recent updates have been glitchy. The app sometimes crashes, especially with the new Challenges feature.

Also, in the Challenges section, it’d be helpful to include pictures of the tree species along with their names—it’s hard to remember them by name alone.

I still enjoy the app and hope these issues can be fixed soon

I find myself going to my phone too much, and whereas Apple’s screen time controls are essentially useless (allowing indefinite 15min extensions), this app actually blocks them effectively for me and incentivizes me with adorable trees when I have just enough willpower to plant a tree but not enough to keep myself from continually trying to go to Facebook out of habit. My focus, productivity, and bedtime has been much improved.  ^_^

There have been a couple little bugs at times for me where the app doesn’t load or refresh properly, but the fact that most of the time it has kept me off my phone are well worth it, and I’m sure the team is constantly improving the app. 

Also, I was elated that I could get this with a one-time purchase instead of a subscription. Those are nightmares. 💸

끝날때 자꾸 렉걸리고 이래서야 쓰겠어요? 렉이 너무너무너무 심해짐. 그냥 모든게 렉걸려요. 사용가능한 앱 고치는 것도 렉 엄청 걸리고요. 심지어 아이폰은 결제해서 쓰는건데 이러면 안되죠. 렉걸리고 그냥 원래대로 돈 주고 나무 그대로 살아있으면 괜찮은데 왜 시간 잘 지켰는데도 나무를 죽이죠? 아니 진심 크리스마스 이브에 연습하다가 기분이 나쁘네요
