App stalls and shuts down lots more glitches make it hard and unreliable has gotten worse since last update

This is one of the better form apps currently on the market, it is simple to use, extremely stable and provides good results. My use was to quickly compile real estate inspection data for presentation to clients in a standard format, combining photos, text, checkboxes and dropdown lists. If I was to suggest areas of major improvement it would be in exporting as a pdf file - it fails to export the actual screen pages, rather it condenses into a raw format with little appeal for the end user. In my case, to provide a pdf report in an appealing format I had to take Form Connect screenshots to camera roll, edit these screenshots to remove the background edges and compile the png files back to a single pdf file, then compress the new pdf via a third party program and export via dropbox. This is a lot of work to get a multi page report into a format presentable for distribution - if the pdf export was the same as presented on the screen (WYSIWYG) it would be a giant leap forward and make this app a difficult one to compete with. When a text box is located at the bottom of the iPad page the virtual keyboard presents issues that are quite annoying and some of the text formatting has minor issues when changes are made. It’s still a great program, but the pdf export issue is enough for me to consider looking elsewhere if it is not included in a future upgrade - it may be more suited as a general database entry tool, whereas I require instant glossy reports in png or pdf format for simple electronic distribution as attachments.

Fantastic app, everything I was after but used it a couple of times and now it won't open :( if I could open it, would give it 4-5 stars.

this is perhaps one of the best apps i have purchased from the app store,saving me hours in preparing site inspection records. with the form prepared, the record is complete almost as soon as the inspection is complete, with embedded photos etc. The program now offers a choice of A4 and letter paper size.

This has made my whole job a lot easier Compared to the tens of hundreds just spent on attempting to find a successful form creator, this system is a breeze! Very user friendly and most easy enough to understand

Usually works good, very customizable. There is a bug that causes trouble, it will delete your information randomly. Not so convenient to call customer and get information you’ve already asked for and entered in front of them

There is a crash problem. The app functions are very basic at best, especially the field options. UI is what you get and the 5 form themes cannot be adjusted. Online resources is basic and glazes some of the basics. Text fields editing appears to be limited to the 1 font, using a single color and style choice. They limit the table field to subscription while their competitor Tap Forms offers it in the same priced paid app. Also you cannot adjust field layers so that fillable portions are on top without deleting and re-adding fields constantly. Online documentation and videos seem to be incomplete with even the basics. Like what is the PDF Text box option for when you can enter text whether it’s on or off. To be fair a lot of use cases do not require a lot of features, so this app might be enough to meet your goals. I am reviewing the paid and free app (not the subscription services or customer support). So I recommend trying the free one first with one month of subscription ($2) before committing to paid (or sticking with subscription). They do bug fix updates so I imagine the crash problem should disappear. They also do not collect data which is nice.

I’ve been using FormConnect Pro or + for some years now and I’ve been able to make some impressive detailed forms with it. I think it’s the best app of its kind in the AppStore ,when it comes to features,offline use, and support. The only thing I’d change is the ability to use transparent png images,using different fonts, and the ability to use and lock layers. Overall this is an awesome app if you give it a chance.

At least offer a free trial if you’re going to be missing a basic doc import feature. Terrible app

I’ve used FormConnect for over 2 years. No out of nowhere my app is crashing and I can’t open it. Please fix this so I give higher star rating.
