All of my annotations have been deleted with the most resent update. It took a lot of time to make them all. 40 charts were affected. This is extemely poor support. I’d try another product - not this inferior one. Very disappointed. If I could give it no stars, I would have. Run away from this one and don’t waste your time like I did.
Visually impaired musician/singer and love love love this for the iPad. Easy access to music. Easy to notate and erase. Pro features help with advanced page turns or a page turn pedal works wonders too. Adjustable in different lightings and easy to zoom. No annoying ads and music where you need it. Capability to sync scores or if you have another pad, two page it. Would love to request a feature for sorting music: by opera or musical theatre work, voice type and/or song type (aria, duet, quartet, choral, etc.) when editing docs (title, composer etc.) tags are good but something like this couldn’t hurt.
Forscore was the best PDF reader. However when I opened the app today I found the layout has changed to resemble what they’ve been working on with the Apple Vision. This is such a drastic downgrade for the ipad experience that I believe it has to be a mistake. Key features, like the metronome and ability to scan scores, are completely missing. If this is not a mistake then I hope they include the ability to revert to the previous layout. Usually Forscore is a 5 star app but I hope this 1 star review draws attention to this terrible change.
As a pianist, I’ve used this app for many years and it is absolutely the best sheet music app, designed for musicians. I’m working on converting all of my sheet music to digital and I love the iCloud sync feature, because I like importing my sheet music on my Mac then I automatically have it on my iPad as well.
Every Apple Pencil app has an object eraser to erase the entire line with one touch. Why doesn’t forScore?
Unacceptable in a windy venue. There should be automatic safeguards and all files should NOT be lost. I am livid. Stick with paper if you want reliability. Beyond upset with this software.
I have a large library right at my finger tips. Easy to use. Great price.
My only criticism is the “stamps”. They allow you to add in tabs or chord diagrams but they are so small you cant read them.

There is no support unless you pay three dollars a month for the upgrade to Pro subscription. This is even after the initial purchase of the app. Secondly iTunes music no longer open in forScore. You cannot play songs after the Apple iOS upgrades. So this app is now useless for me because I can’t slow down or listen to songs while I practice. There is a so-called workaround for iOS 13.4 but forScore hasn’t done a workaround for the 14.2.5 version. And I cannot get any support to inquire to get help. And I refuse to pay extra money for a subscription for an app I already have and have been using for a few years now.
