### ****- "Improving Quickly"
I’ve been using Fortelling on mobile for about a year now, possibly a bit longer, and the improvements the app has moved through are really impressive. I love the tag system, and specifically the character profiles have been valuable for me. The outline and event functions also really help for organization. 
I don’t have pro, but I still find the app to be entirely useful. While there are features of pro that have me considering it, I don’t feel restrained or like the app’s functionality is hobbled by not having pro. 
I only gave four stars because I really struggle with the pinboards on mobile. I’m not certain if it’s the interface or the functionality in general for mobile (on Apple anyway), but I just can’t seem to get anything to work besides simply placing an asset on the pinboard.

I have been looking for an app that can help make characters and outlines. I don’t use it to write my two novels. I absolutely love the timeline and event feature. But the app is sorta dull. I mean I think the writing challenges are cool it’s just that I want to focus on my novels so I haven’t entered any. Maybe if there was some more customization for the app and you could share work it would make it more fun. I don’t know lol. But I love this app despite that and I’m going to definitely keep it. Get it if you need assistance with making plots or outlines!!!

UPDATE: I entered a challenge! It was fun and everyone is so nice and welcoming. I use the challenges for practice. I love Fortelling!! 📖❤️

### ***** "Nothing else like it for Worldbuilding!"
When I write I tend to get rooted in worldbuilding, and the tools Fortelling has let me do more than any other writing app. They just built it from a different perspective than starting with a Word Processor and jam features in, and it shows. 

I’ve been a pro subscriber and not, and I resubscribed because the web access on a laptop or desktop is just seamless and I found I really missed that ease of access. Comparable to Evernote without the tiered account nonsense, except the interface and function stays completely the same and familiar.

Being able to build your own tools (to an extent) is something that makes Fortelling more personal and extensible for what I do and how I write. There is a learning curve on some items and some documentation is a little thin bc this app is still pretty new, but updated often!

If you’re a worldbuilding-style writer, I just can’t recommend anything but Fortelling. It’s that good.

I got this app on a whim. I was really tired of writing on my notes app this app literally had EVERYTHING I could’ve possibly needed it’s easy to learn and master. It’s top tier for world building, planning, mapping, and collaboration! I wish it was easier to make maps but otherwise this app is perfect and free.

So, for context, I’m on mobile. And tried using the boards feature, but the save button wouldn’t work. And the screen goes grey with no working buttons when I try to change the color of a label. This wasn’t the case before, but not at all a bad app. Those two things just need a little fixing

Its entirely plausible I just didn't understand how to get the most out of it, but fiddling around for five minutes in Foretelling and discovering the tools in such easy to reach places?? It has everything I want and it's just smooooth. It's just comfy to the eye, this interface. I'm astounded that there's only one developer. The intellect and skill on you, dude. Very well done.

This is by far my favorite writing app!!! It has everything I need to make my stories organized and thought out. However, I’d love it if you could rearrange the order of your projects or characters, or even put them in different folders.
I have several of my own projects, and several I collaborate on with my friend, and I’d love to have a folder that I can put solo projects in, and one I can put our shared projects in! That’d be amazing.
Also, I’d like to organize which of my characters or places you see first when you open the app, so they show up by importance or how often I use them. Just the ability to rearrange the order they’re put in would be amazing.

### ***** "Phenomenal for People Who Plan"
This app is wonderful! I always have so many ideas all at once and no way to organize them. I can’t write without plotting first, and plotting leads to other ideas and I don’t know where to write them or how to keep organized, etc. This app was such a blessing. It came up one day when I was Googling good workspaces for authors. The price point is more than fair and well within my budget, the app is compatible across platforms (like from phone app to computer in the web browser,) and it is so very user friendly. I have had so much fun planning my stories without stress and getting to add photos of my characters, build the world, add species and items, and pretty much everything else that can go into a book. Anything that it doesn’t have as a pre-written prompt (which is few and far between) you can add manually. You can have a whole series in one project and label everything clearly. I have ADHD, and so I have trouble organizing my thoughts usually. This app really helped with that. I highly recommend this app to any future authors or anyone that wants a fun place to build a world of their own.
