It freezes
It was working fine at the beginning but for the last 2 weeks it froze every time I search for a word

Great, the new apps are improving
The recordings and database are excellent, but the app is really hard to use - pasting into the search box always takes multiple attempts on my iPad Pro, and it's then impossible to edit that input easily - for example to capitalise an initial letter of a term I have to delete the whole term and type again, rather than being able to place the cursor in the desired position. It also now spends seconds pointlessly pre-loading a load of words I have no interest in every time I open the app.

Great, but the new app is dreadful

Please please please remove the banner asking “do you want to search for a new pronunciation in another language” . It takes up a big chunk of the phone screen and I have never needed to use it.
Very disappointed
With mixed reviews from some time ago and a book recommending Forvo I thought I’d give it a try. Signing up is not easy the app doesn’t like either of my two email addresses or my username, but it won’t tell me why. Maybe someday I’ll be able to sign up but I can’t be confident about that. The app has a very strange function called turtle which makes the pronunciation sound like it’s underwater, really don’t understand why this is here. Cannot recommend.
Unable to get further
Logged in Facebook then Google. Completely deadended. Save your money.
Literally just a worse version of the website
Doesn’t rotate on iPad, won’t let me sign in properly, only works online, seriously cannot advise against getting enough.
Unusable!
I have used Forvo’s web app for years and it is a great resource so I thought I would buy their mobile app for my iPhone. That was a mistake! After 30 minutes of going round in circles I still had not managed to get one word pronounced successfully. The app just does not function on my iPhone 6+.
