## Foto Inc Reviews in United States

### **--- "decent app"
videos could be on the app making it cuter though
-- BubblesRoseMeyers, 2025-11-07

### ***** "Love it"
I enjoy this much more than instagram where you’re forced to scroll through endless reels and are basically required to create videos to get any exposure at all.
-- iblamethefrenchcanadians, 2025-10-21

### ****- "Great but needs some updates!"
Please make the block button actually block a spam account. Another feature I’d like to see is a private message/ DM button.
-- TYrice93, 2025-10-11

### **--- "Nice bed, but bugs"
I like the idea of a photo app only, but they’re still working on bugs. It’s still just a scroll an and also hard to find an audience and like minded photogs. My real beef is that I’ve been logged out multiple times. This last time when I had to replace my phone, I hadn’t signed in for a month they “expired” my account, but they kept taking my ‘ambassador’ money. Which I only paid for to support a photo only app. Guess I’ll stop buying into this app. Also, customer support is sub par.
-- trashcatphotos, 2025-10-10

### *---- "Unable to Load… Months Later"
The app is still unstable months after my last attempt. My old device was an iPhone 14 with the latest iOS installed, and after an account was created, I was prompted to login. It crashed after that and the app refused to load any time afterward.

Flash forward to an entirely new device: iPhone 17. Let’s try it again: nope. Repeated crashes.
-- Sherman Cahal, 2025-10-05

### *---- "Missing Photos"
Today was the first in a while I logged in after getting my new iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apparently most of my photos were deleted? I only have one photo but I had at least a dozen or so.
The even weirder thing is if I click on old notifications, it takes me back to my old photos. So, why aren’t they showing up on my actual profile/post?
-- LoopnThreads, 2025-09-22

### ****- "Good idea"
Updating with new portfolio feature release.

Old review:
Wished there were more photography centric features such as: searching by specific camera and lenses, optional fields in post for info (like location, camera, lens, iso, fstop, etc), and new one:
on your profile page it would be amazing to be able to arrange your photos manually, not just chronologically, so it can be curated in a true portfolio style to tell a story. I know you can just post them in order but sometimes a photo posted later makes sense in a previous series when revisited.

New:
^ above still holds true. Portfolios feature fulfills some of this, but not in an efficient way.

Hope this makes sense: think of regular posts as raws/negatives flagged because they’re good enough for printing. Portfolios is where I’d organize and print said photos into a book to tell a story. I may use the same photo in multiple portfolios if it fits, which in the current workflow would waste lots of server space.

When creating a new portfolio, there should be 2 options:
1) add a previous post (as in, print one of the previously flagged negatives);
2) add a new post (as in, flag a new negative/raw and print it).
When doing (2), you’d essentially be creating a new post within the existing ‘add post’ workflow and adding it to the portfolio automatically. This also allows us to optionally caption individual photos within a portfolio appropriately, since I primarily use it to note camera, lens, place, and date taken.
-- Eliney, 2025-08-22

### ***** "Exactly what we all wished for"
Foto is the answer to every way Instagram has failed photographers. It is proof that a platform can work beautifully without being an ad filled, money hungry hellscape of “content” and ai slop rather than true passion for this art form. Amazing work, can’t wait to see how it grows from here. It just gets better and better!
-- Franke Design, 2025-08-19

### ***-- "Not perfect but better than IG"
A nice departure from the slop farm IG fas long been. The app has a lot of limitations like no video which I love. While others like a preset list of tags leave a lot to be desired. The active user base seems small even months after full release which is disappointing. I will keep posting and liking in hopes it takes off… but I recall saying the same thing before.

### ***** "Hashtags"
Can you please add a hashtag for #instruments, specifically #guitar? Thanks.
