## Foundations Memory Work C2 Description
Classical Conversations®
Foundations Memory Work Tutorials, Cycle 2

Description:
Strengthen your brain by memorizing quality content with art and song in a beautiful, interactive format in seven subject areas. Features include enhanced graphics and interactivity, Classical Conversations® Classical Acts & Facts® timeline, and the U.S. presidents!

Classical educators know the importance of memorizing the grammar—the basic facts and vocabulary—of a subject. Now you can memorize the foundational knowledge of seven topics in a fun, interactive iPad and iPhone application.

In Cycle 2, Classical Conversations students memorize 161 events and people in the timeline, including the U.S. presidents; 24 history sentences from medieval to modern world history; 24 sites or features of European and world geography; 24 science questions and answers on ecology, astronomy, and physics; multiplication tables (1 through 15), squares, roots, cubes, and basic math laws and conversions; Latin verb endings; and English grammar rules. This app corresponds to the Foundations Curriculum, Fifth Edition Second Printing.

Medieval to modern world history is presented in an interactive application with songs and artwork designed to make memorizing enjoyable.

Now integrated with other Classical Conversations resources, each history sentence and science question points you to the corresponding Classical Acts & Facts® card, handy flashcards for classical educators that will expand your memory work in depth and breadth.

No matter your age, you can build a firm foundation of knowledge by memorizing these building blocks of education.

Classical Conversations Foundations students, ages 4 through 12, have been using these tools in our online subscription service, CC Connected®. The iPad and iPhone application offers these features:
• Touch screen slides horizontally to reveal memory work by subject
• Touch screen slides vertically to study each subject by week
• Touch screen allows students to slide back and forth through the U.S. presidents
• Navigates back and forth and home easily

Classical Conversations® empowers homeschooling parents and establishes classical, Christian communities that equip children with a biblical worldview and the classical tools of learning in order to impact the world for God’s glory.

## Foundations Memory Work C2 Reviews in United States

### *---- "Would be sooo easy to make this great"
Create the option to play all memory work in a row by subject OR by week! Don’t require a click to go on to the next song. Include the timeline song broken into weeks. Allow listening even with the screen off. It would be super special if ALL memory work was put to songs but just completing the above app updates would make it so much easier. How in the world is this not done already??
-- Nire107, 2023-04-20

### ***-- "Needs Timeline"
If this had the timeline song and Cards it would be absolutely amazing!
-- jennynmtichell, 2023-03-08

### ***** "Awesome, but no Timeline song"
This app is AMAZING! Seriously helps with memorization!! But one thing. There is no Timeline song!!! Please add this in the next version. Otherwise amazing!
-- k-trow, 2023-01-02

### *---- "Waste of money"
I was looking for songs and hand motions. They just have a few videos of songs but mostly just someone repeating what’s already in the book. Why am I paying for that? There needs to be something more complete, like ALL the songs and hand motions.
-- Daffy74, 2022-09-08

### *---- "Waste of money"
It’s a waste of money! I purchased it because I though it would be packed with videos and songs maybe ideas or anything at all other than just the weekly work. You’re better off finding songs and resources on YouTube for free.
-- MsMLcrd, 2022-08-26

### **--- "No timeline song"
I paid $10 for this so I could have the Timeline song on my phone. And it doesn't have the Timeline song. Why on earth wouldn't you put the Timeline song on the app? I really feel like CC doesn't care about us at all sometimes.
-- Spamilio, 2022-07-16

### **--- "Cut that timeline song"
This app would be so much more profitable and useful if it could give us the option to listen to the song OR reading on repeat NOT both on one play. Oh and the timeline song needs to be segmented by week and added in.
-- Gardeleana, 2022-06-13

### *---- "Waste of Money"
Seriously CC just likes to gouge money, they don't care about teaching much. Don't worry, you can buy the cards with science and history facts now instead of seeing them on the overpriced app. If you're going to cut your app in half slash the price too.
-- Annoyedwasalreadytaken., 2021-07-05

### ***** "I love cc ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"
I love cc
-- BT's Apple Stuff, 2020-09-02

### ***-- "Good information, bad design"
This app is great. We use it everyday for school. The information is fantastic. I gave it 3 stars because in a recent update the weeks and subjects tab was changed to dark blue against a black background and we can barely see them. Every time we need to move to the next subject both my on and I squint and struggle to see the words. I’d give this app 5 stars otherwise.
