Controls are very smooth when played that way. Again, love the soundtrack and the voice acting, and the overall feel of the game. The dialogue between the two characters is very well done and very funny, i.e. the remarks about remembering things. Very smooth, very well executed. I've used similar control systems on other games and never had so much trouble maneuvering. I intended to delete the app but decided to wait and see if any updates fixed it. I've gotten the most recent version and will update my review if it works better. I like the graphics and it sounds like a game I could really enjoy but will delete if the controls still make the game unplayable.
