Paying an extra 3% just to pay with the cup is ridiculous when I can tap my phone for free. The app is clunky and requires a sign-in to check your balance, meaning I either have to check from home or take my phone anyway. I don’t like that you can’t just register a credit card (like on a phone) and be charged the exact amount. What happens when there’s $2 left on the account and you can only top up with $25? It’s forcing additional spending.
