President

* Presides over all meetings of the Association.

* Serves as a principal signatory to the Association’s bank account.
* Represents the Association in official matters.

Vice President

* Assists the President in the discharge of duties.
* Acts on behalf of the President in his or her absence.
* Performs duties assigned by the President or the Executive Committee.

General Secretary

* Keeps accurate records and minutes of meetings.
* Issues notices of meetings.
* Handles all official correspondence.
* Maintains the Association’s records and documents.

Assistant General Secretary

* Assists the General Secretary.
* Performs the duties of the Secretary whenever the Secretary is unavailable.

Financial Secretary

* Keeps records of all income and financial transactions.
* Collects dues, levies, and other payments.
* Prepares financial reports for meetings.

Treasurer

* Safeguards all funds of the Association.
* Makes payments as approved by the Association.
* Maintains proper cash records.
* Serves as a signatory to the Association’s bank account.

Public Relations Officer (PRO)

* Publicizes the activities of the Association.
* Maintains cordial relations with members and the public.
* Manages the Association’s official communication platforms.

Welfare Officer

* Coordinates welfare matters affecting members.
* Maintains records of welfare cases.
* Recommends welfare assistance to the Executive Committee.

Provost

* Maintains order and discipline during meetings.
* Enforces the Constitution and meeting regulations.
* Carries out assignments relating to security and order.

ARTICLE 11: ELECTIONS AND TENURE OF OFFICE

1. Elections shall be conducted democratically at a General Meeting.
2. Only financial members shall be eligible to vote or contest elections.
3. Officers shall serve a term of two (2) years and may be re-elected for one additional term.
4. Voting shall be by secret ballot or any other method approved by the General Meeting.
