## Free Time Description
You pick up your phone to check one thing and 40 minutes later you're still scrolling.

Free Time adds a mindful pause before your most distracting apps, so you open Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube on purpose instead of on autopilot. No willpower required, no deleting your apps.

HOW IT WORKS
Choose the apps that steal your time. The next time you tap one, Free Time steps in with a short pause like a breathing exercise, a quick puzzle, or a gratitude prompt. Most of the time, that pause is all it takes to put the phone back down.

WHY PEOPLE LOVE IT
• Mindful pauses — breathing, puzzles, and gratitude prompts interrupt the autopilot tap
• Autolock — decide how long you get inside an app, and it locks itself when time's up. The easiest way to stop doomscrolling.
• Block up to 50 apps and websites — social media, news, games, anything
• Focus timer — 25-minute deep work sessions with your distractions locked away
• Habit tracking — watch your screen time drop and your streaks grow

BUILT FOR REAL LIFE
Free Time isn't about punishing yourself or going cold turkey. It's a gentler kind of app blocker: enough friction to break the habit loop, flexible enough that you stay in control. Perfect if you've tried strict blockers before and ended up deleting them.

Works with Apple's Screen Time technology. Your data stays on your device.

Free Time is free to try. Unlimited blocking and all pause styles are included with Free Time Pro (monthly or annual subscription, cancel anytime).

Put your phone down. Pick your life up. Download Free Time today.

### ***** "Adding ideal intention to my day"
FreeTime adds a gentle layer of mindful attention to parts of my day that used to slip into distraction. Helps me stay present with self and with the passions. I find the design to be super grounding and the experience feels purposeful in a way that supports real presence. It has quickly become something I find myself being grateful for on the regular. It is genuinely life improving app.

### ***** "Love using the app"
Thanks for building this! It really helps put me in the right mindspace when using my phone.
-- Yefimmmmmm, 2025-11-20

### ***** "Intentional app usage works"
I love the way that Free Time prompts you to do something before unlocking an app you have blocked. my scrolling on instagram went way down immediately after downloading it. the only improvement i would suggest is that sometimes the blocked app doesn’t get locked the first time you switch back to Free Time using the notification, and you have to re-open or go back to Free Time for it to lock the app, but not a huge deal.

### ***** "Life changing"
I cannot believe how quickly this app changed my social media habits and I’m so much calmer and more focused as a result. I used to struggle with checking my apps way too much, but now I’ve cut way back and am using them so much more intentionally. I appreciate the simple design, the gentle reminders, and how it doesn’t shame me for needing to check apps—which I need to do for my work. I’m recommending to so many friends!

### ***** "Amazing app!!!"
I LOVE Free time. Since starting to use it, it’s got me using my phone so much more thoughtfully. And the problems are all just the right difficulty - hard enough to be annoying, easy enough to do.

In just 3 weeks, I’ve become so much more regulated with my Instagram use, that I’ve added locks to all of my other troublesome apps.

Thank you Free time for giving me more Free Time!!

### ***** "Less Facebook more Music"
Thank you for this amazing app. Instead of scrolling endlessly on my phone, I now rediscovered my love for playing the piano.
-- Brian❤️Coffee, 2025-11-12

### ***** "Instant lifesaver! Overcame phone addiction in first month"
Embarrassed to confess how my social media screen time daily average was 9-12 hours before this app.

Proud to declare how that effortlessly cut to 2.5 hours within the first 3 weeks.

Within my first month, I’ve managed to keep off my worst two mobile apps for a whole week!

Definitely worth a try — and I’m sure you’ll be recommending this to everyone like I’m doing.

Thank youuuu for so much of my life back 🥹
