## Free42 Description
Free42 is a re-implementation of the HP-42S calculator and the HP-82240 printer.
It is a complete rewrite, not using any HP code, and it does not require an HP-42S ROM image.
Free42 is an Open Source project. The executables and source code are released under the terms of the GNU General Public License, version 2.
All third-party code used in Free42 is either in the public domain, or licensed under terms compatible with GPLv2, or used with the authors' permission.

Thank you for reviving this wonderful calculator. I used it a long time ago. Using the HP 42S  again makes me younger. It’s like I’m living a resurrection. N.B. The developer was kind enough to tell me how to find the original instructions concerning the HP 42S. His availability would deserve him a 6th star.

With a powerful and extremely polished HP 42s emulator at its core, the app is a remarkable calculator. You can expect accurate and reliable results from all functions. The only point of criticism would be the default skin, which is not to the same standard as the rest of the app. It can easily be changed by the user.

I use it daily in my engineering job. Since I use it so frequently the only thing I really miss now is a widget for the lock screen in order to access the app more quickly. (Or to implement the hooks so that it can be added to the “Launcher app”).

Einfach super! Auch meine für den Original 42s geschriebenen Programme laufen einwandfrei.
Wer einen guten UPN/RPN Rechner auf dem iPhone möchte, ist mit diesem App bestens bedient.
iPhone 3Gs mit iOS 5 (Lief bei mir auch einwandfrei auf dem iPhone 3G mit iOS 3.1.2)

Kann echt nicht verstehen, dass es Leute gibt die für diese App nur einen Stern vergeben haben.
