FreeOTP adds a second layer of security for your online accounts. This works by generating one-time passwords on your mobile devices which can be used in conjunction with your normal password to make your login nearly impossible to hack. These passwords can be generated even when your phone is in airplane mode.
FreeOTP works with many of the great online services you already use, including Google, Facebook, Evernote, GitHub and many more! FreeOTP also may work for your private corporate security if they implement the standardized TOTP or HOTP protocols. This includes great enterprise solutions like FreeIPA.

Leider funktioniert die App nach dem umsetzen vom iPhone 11 aufs 15 nicht mehr; selbst die neu Installation hat nichts gebracht
Really close to being a great app
The app is tiny and has no fluff, which is great. The simple design is also nice. The problem is that backing up to iCloud is no longer possible for some reason, which means changing phones is a huge pain and losing your phone is a disaster. The fact that you can’t export the entries is also annoying and makes the previously stated problem even worse. Also slight design problem: when you click on an entry the copy code to clipboard button disappears. This leads to one being able to only copy the codes on isn’t in need of. All in all it’s really close to being great, but as it stands I find it unusable.
Kein Kopieren möglich
Kopierfunktion der Zahlenkombi wäre sinnvoll und praktisch
Einfach.
Kein nachträgliches Edieren der Icons möglich. Aber sonst übersichtlicher als die anderen apps. Vorallem wird der Token schön groß und direkt angezeigt. Gut!
Nice app but no backup possible!?
I like the app very much. Works nice. But Why cant i backup my data?
Einfach und gut
Der fehlende Export war für mich der Grund die App zu wählen dazu noch der renommierte Hersteller und die geringe Grösse.
Dont install it .
If u remove your app or remove your second Authenticator- There is no way to get it back every time when u want log in to the account it ask you one time code ,although u removed second Authenticator ,but it still want the code . There is no way to turn ths app off and options for contacts support.
Eigentlich Ok, aber ...
... man kann Token-Einträge nicht mehr editieren. Weder das (viel zu große) Icon austauschen, noch den Namen ändern. Das ist ziemlich blöd. Zudem finde ich die Auswahl an Icons schlecht gelöst. Es sind ja größtenteils Markenlogos, die aber nicht per Text benannt sind, so dass man raten muss was was sein soll. Eine Gruppierung der Icons in Ordner wäre zudem sehr hilfreich, und bitte mehr generische Icons, die nicht an irgendwelche existierenden Dienste gekoppelt sind. Gruppieren der Token Liste wäre auch schön. Also noch viel Verbesserungspotential.
Keine Exportmöglichkeit
Auch ich möchte mich der Kritik anschließen, dass man die Schlüssel nicht auf ein neues Handy übertragen kann. Das muss unbedingt nachgebessert werden.
