The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can check your glucose by scanning your sensor with your phone. Now FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor users can get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and also receive alarms when your glucose is low or high. [1][2]
You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:
* View your current glucose reading, trend arrow and glucose history
* Receive low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors [2]
* Add notes to track your food, insulin use and exercise
* See reports, such as Time in Range and Daily Patterns
* Share your data with your doctor and family, with your permission [3]
SMARTPHONE COMPATIBILITY
Compatibility may vary between phones and operating systems. Learn more about compatible phones at http://FreeStyleLibre.com.
USING YOUR APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can only be issued on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with your reader. Once the sensor has been started with the reader, you can also scan that sensor with your phone.
Remember that the app and reader do not share data with each other. For complete information on a device, scan your sensor every eight hours with that device; otherwise, your reports will not include all your data. You can upload and view data from all of your devices on LibreView.com.

FreeStyle LibreLink – NZ Reviews

Well it works

cloneyonuda on

New Zealand

Could be better it lags at times would be nice if the was a way to add widgets to the Lock Screen. Or even better would be good to have a way of being compatible with brands of insulin pumps to create a ai improving closed loop system

Good

Samthemanforlyf on

Love it but hate that when I go low my alarm alarm doesn’t go off

Does its job but lacking features

Gwrachen on

New Zealand

It lacks an export of its data, which means that without screenshots one can only give anecdotal accounts of what happens after an event (injections, eating, overnight dawn effect, etc.), which thereby makes it no better that finger pricking (which never bothered me) but at a considerably greater expense. - It lacks connectivity with Apple Health. - Developers thank people for comments and say they will look into features request by many 1-2-3 years later, feature still missing.

Good but too basic!

SayHi2Steve on

New Zealand

As said by nearly everyone else functional but super basic. All the features suggested by Charles the dino AND PLEASE add a couple of widgets so your BG can be viewed on the Lock Screen, desktop and also the Dynamic Island.

NFC reader has broken

Daughters iPhone8plus now doesn’t work after the update.

It’s quite basic

Obviously works with the glucose monitor But very few visualisation options No ability to scroll through timeline No integration with Apple Health Meh

A bit unreliable

lasoniss on

New Zealand

Good when it works but not when it doesn’t. There’s a reason why this is the cheapest system available.

My fingers thank you

Vulcan79 on

New Zealand

I am loving this, my fingers got very painful when touched by a lancet now so having the CGM is a lifesaver! I have a suggestion though, it would be helpful to be able to log water and other liquids that may be affecting my sugar levels (we know drinking water helps lower sugars). Thank you

Ok could be better.

fuscam on

New Zealand

Would be better to have a lock screen widget for iphone and iwatch so you didn’t have to unlock your phone and open the app just to see the levels.

Please bring back daily ‘time in range’!

Still super helpful. But the newest one has removed the daily time in range. For me this is a massive flaw
