Compatibility may vary between phones and operating systems. Learn more about compatible phones at http://FreeStyleLibre.com.
USING YOUR APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can only be issued on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with your reader. Once the sensor has been started with the reader, you can also scan that sensor with your phone.
Remember that the app and reader do not share data with each other. For complete information on a device, scan your sensor every eight hours with that device; otherwise, your reports will not include all your data. You can upload and view data from all of your devices on LibreView.com.

FreeStyle LibreLink – NZ Reviews
My fingers thank you
I am loving this, my fingers got very painful when touched by a lancet now so having the CGM is a lifesaver!
I have a suggestion though, it would be helpful to be able to log water and other liquids that may be affecting my sugar levels (we know drinking water helps lower sugars).
Thank you
Good but
Needs dark mode. Can be a nuance when it can’t calculate a bgl. Should have an option to show raw data along with processed estimate even when fluctuating wildly
Ok could be better.
Would be better to have a lock screen widget for iphone and iwatch so you didn’t have to unlock your phone and open the app just to see the levels.
Please bring back daily ‘time in range’!
Still super helpful. But the newest one has removed the daily time in range. For me this is a massive flaw
Basic functions works but..
Would be better if firstly, users could sync and integrate the readings with Apple health. Secondly, to have widgets for visibility on what’s the latest reading and days left on the CGM. Lastly, some kind of gentle reminder to get (and save the latest reading). Often I have gaps on data from the sensor because the sensor seem to only be able to remember a certain number of hours of data.
Excellent
It’s an excellent app. Overall Freestyle Libre sensor has liberated me!
I have been using this for last 8 years now.
Since the upgrade of the app it is more convenient (no need to scan anymore).
Only thing we would really really appreciate if the app is available for Apple Watch as well. Thanks
Automatic glucose readings not working
Freestyle Libre 2 Automatic glucose readings not working on iphone 11 pro.
What could be the issue?
Latest app downloaded as well as running latest apple software.
Pretty good but could be great
This app is pretty good but would be awesome if we could give more feedback to dev team on what would be helpful. Eg would love a widget for apple phones, and to link data to health app. Also functionality to allow for overrides when sensor is out (ie BGL is 7.3 but sensor is alarming low). I’ve had to turn off alarms at night because sensor if faulty but app doesn’t allow for temporary turn offs or overrides/corrections etc.
Scanning problems
I’m having issues when scanning the sensor. I am receiving multiple scan error messages at least 50% of the times I scan. Very frustrating, so much so that with the cost, I have investigated other blood sugar monitoring systems. The NZ team are not helpful!
I have found the Libre2 system a lot less reliable and user friendly than the old, and having to constantly recharge the reader is a pain.
Rarely updated and very buggy
Could be good but as the NZ team very rarely update the app, it is glitchy and slow and lacks features the same product has in other countries.
