### *---- "Fresha stole my money right out of my bank account."
I signed up for this booking software back before it was called Fresha, it was originally called Shedul, I have been a customer for 11 years I think. I was told it was going to be “free for life!” when I signed up, as I was signing up as one of the first users and they were using my data to improve their product. Great. Except, they started charging me TWENTY PERCENT COMMISSION on client appointments when they “find me on Fresha Marketplace.” So a client the other day was referred to me by an existing client. “I’m sending my friend Kate in to see you!” And Kate googled me, and clicked through the wrong link and Fresha took $78 out of my bank account! They essentially stole my money. If you want to align your business with thieves who steal 20% of your services, then go ahead. I’m switching to Salon Monster.

When I sync the app with my google calendar, it just shows Fresha appointment and not the clients name. I know there’s a link which will show their info but if their name was on the calendar it would be better.

### ***** "Exactly what I need"
This app is perfect for what I need for my home-based salon. It’s just me, but I am very busy so this gives me the ability to stay on top of everything while giving my clients the ability to manage themselves as well. I am created all the services I provide, and have them categorized and grouped together for ease for clients (ie: hair, lashes, waxing, head spa). I create the price, and assign that and a time to each service. But I can also go in and adjust for each client if I know one client in particular takes longer (and then when I go to rebook( it remembers those adjustments). It also keeps track of my product sales. And so much more. And then to top it off, it keeps track of a monthly (customizable window) of a “dashboard” where it will tell me exactly how much GST I owe, how much profit I made, how much I sold, etc. truly wonderful. I’ve tried other apps, but always come back to this one as the others are always missing something — or if it’s truly comparable, it just doesn’t look as nice. Can’t say enough great things.

Claim to be free and have no payments but they just charge extra on payment card fees and the new client fees are ridiculous (horrible to use during sales which completely defeats the purpose). Truly just becoming a money grab, your better off using Square. The customer service here takes forever or sometimes doesn’t reply at all. They are CONSTANTLY updating the app so it’s always changing and there’s always bugs. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but things just keep turning for the worst, I should’ve left a long time ago.

Every update they do, I find it is getting worse. I loved and worked with Shedul/fresha for years now. They now force you to be on their marketplace to charge you 20% from the clients 1st visit. I loved the app because of the free sms reminders which is now 20 sms/month. I understand, they have to make money but very soon, we will have to pay for everything in this app and they’re gonna eat up all of our profits. Unfortunately I will have to look for an other alternative.

After most recent update there a lot of problems. The application freezes and crashes. *** When adding products to a cart there is no way to search the product you want . The search feature was removed we have to go through all the products until you find the one we are looking for. It takes a lot of time, it makes for a very awkward interaction with the client. Removing the search feature adds minutes to the transaction, we have to go through all the menu for each product we want to add. Fix it.
