## From The Crease Description
Why Choose FTC?
FTC is the premier training platform designed by Ian Clark for goalies and coaches of all ages and skill levels. You are not just getting a goalie training app; you are gaining direct access to the goaltending philosophy and methodology of one of the game’s most respected and revolutionary minds. These proven systems have contributed to the development of some of hockey's top goaltenders. This is a comprehensive developmental framework that addresses every aspect of your game, both on and off the ice. From technical execution and positioning to game strategy, mindset, and recovery, FTC provides step-by-step guidance in a format that is easy to follow. Whether you want to build or refine fundamentals or master advanced techniques, FTC offers the tools, structure, and insight necessary to train with purpose and precision.

Take Control of Your Development, Take Control of Your Game
FTC is built on the belief that every goalie should be their own best goalie coach. To achieve personal growth and innovation, goaltenders need access to top training resources. Whether you are just starting, pursuing elite performance, or coaching the next generation, with our expert-designed drills, technical breakdowns, and detailed coaching insights, you’ll have everything you need to develop, elevate, and excel.

Each module features six lessons expertly and progressively crafted for self-development. Master foundational elements and advanced skills while also fostering physiological growth and enhancing mental capacity for performance. FTC targets and mentors each aspect of goaltending input. This is a master blueprint for any goaltender and a companion resource to support any coach.

World-Class and Cutting-Edge Content
From the Crease combines technical detail with exceptional supporting visuals (including graphics, animation, and video) so that you know exactly how to execute each skill precisely as if you were training directly with Ian Clark.

Coach Companion Tools & Content
While every goalie should strive to be their own best goalie coach, the goaltending coach plays an essential development role. Coaches can utilize FTC’s companion nature to revolutionize their coaching and, most importantly, drive student growth and performance to new levels. This starts with building a goalie roster, which leads to optimized training sessions. Communication, feedback, and sharing development activities are central to this process. With shared progress and performance trends, coaches can pinpoint development needs. Then, leverage the FTC’s key-point displays, pro demos, and instant feedback mechanism to enhance the training environment.
TRENDkeeper™ is FTC’s proprietary game-tracking tool that helps goalies and coaches make sense of in-game performance. It goes beyond basic stats by tracking goals against metrics that reveal the areas requiring focus. Whether it’s lateral plays, rebounds, low blocker, net-front scrambles, or any of the remaining 25+ metrics, TK™ identifies the exact scenarios and breakdowns. The data visualizes habits and vulnerabilities over time to troubleshoot game activity. Once identified, goalies and coaches can connect trends directly to the FTC library of curated lessons and activities. You stop guessing and start targeting - instantly start working on the areas that matter most. We transform game outcomes into actionable insights and provide the functional tools to correct weaknesses, reinforce strengths, and elevate performance.

Join the FTC Community
Join a global network of goalies and coaches dedicated to goaltending excellence. Whether you’re chasing your first shutout or aiming for the pros, train with Ian Clark - trusted by the game’s best - and prepare to reach your next level.
