Can no longer use the mobile app to arm/disarm my system, even in my house on my wifi. What’s the point of having the app anymore? Looks like it’s time for a new alarm company.
The app works ok 85% of the time. Then there is the other 15% that definitely creates problems. Sometimes you can’t arm the system from remote. If alarms go off, you get no phone call from Frontpoint anymore. Customer service is crap. The app is too glitchy. Have the police go to your house enough times they’ll not show up when it’s truly an emergency.
I have had Frontpoint for several years. I want to be able to arm and disarm my alarm remotely but it does not work well from the app. It is very frustrating to be away and need to disarm the alarm so someone can enter, and it won’t disarm. The only thing I don’t like about Frontpoint is this app.
I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and the latest FrontPoint app is the worst experience yet. After entering my credentials to login, the app just shows a progress indicator and never actually loads. Totally useless. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, etc. No joy.
App used to work. Now I can’t arm my alarm from my phone
This system has a real problem with power failures. Every time I get a blip or power failure I have to go back and reset / add things again.
I pay $49.99 a month for barely any security! Terrible customer service they couldn’t lower my payments or anything for only 2 door sensors and 1 window break sensor is not worth 49.99 well I know it’s my fault for getting myself in this mess! But please anyone else please do your research before just jumping on board with just any company
Other than arming, disarming and turning lights off and on, the application is completely worthless. “Scenes”: what are “scenes”? “Rules”: what are “rules”? “Manage devices”: seems to include adding or deleting, but one can only guess what what occurs, e.g., what does this command do? My frustration: I seek to modify the times for automatically turning lights on and off. Does the application perform that function?
This app is terrible, who designed this? All I want to do is go update my payment information and pay my bill and when I select the link under Make Payment Now, a dialog pops up and I can’t even scroll down to complete the payment. Who developed this app?? I go online to their website and when I login I have to use 2FA, which takes like 10 minutes? This is unacceptable for a security service when I need access immediately, not 10 minutes from now. The customer service and actual response time when the alarm goes off is great, but the app and website login is awful it makes me question if I should go with another service. The user experience of the app to check the security cameras and door cameras has been horrible as well, we switched to Ring because it was unusable. I like FrontPoint for their security response time when it’s needed, but on the technology front it’s horrible.
