And why on earth are you not using IGAs full catalogue at igashop dot com? There’s an option to tick Aldi and IGA but search results don’t show any products of these stores. Just the big 2 woolies and Coles. So it’s kind of pointless. I got this app in hope of trying to save and avoid shopping at those 2 with jacked up prices. Also the prices are way off by the time you go there to shop. It’s better to manually compare and setup Excel sheets and utelize AI. -- nothappyathlete, 2024-08-17 ### *---- "No unit price, filtering or non-Colesworth shops" Ultimately the app is worse than opening the Coles and Woolworths websites and checking prices yourself. The categories, filtering and sorting options on those sites also makes them a lot easier to use than the Frugl search function. Aldi, Foodland, IGA, NQR and Drakes do not show up on the app, even though I have all the possible supermarkets selected. I even set my address as the local Aldi in case the app thought I was out of range, but got nothing. If the app had Aldi and Foodland prices, I would keep it, as these shops don’t have their own online shops to check. The share functions are no good, as the recipient can only view the lists in the app. There is no export function in case you want to import the data to a different app or spreadsheet. Only random items show unit price, which is a pretty critical failure for a price comparison app. Nice idea but lacking in 3 major ways: no options other than Colesworth, no filtering/sorting, and no reliable unit prices.
