FT8 is a weak signal digital mode, currently very popular in the amateur radio HF shortwave bands. The ft8d app allows decoding FT8 8FSK modulated signals contained in externally provided audio or sound from an SSB radio or SDR. The app supports Level 1 decoding of messages with standard callsigns or 13 character free text messages. The app can also generate standard FT8 message audio, so can be used to experiment with sending and receiving FT8 encoded and modulated audio. The app does NOT perform Auto-sequencing, or decode long hashed callsigns. ## FT8 Decoder Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/fc/90/70/fc9070c0-85be-1e93-6e88-01b96355f046/3dd52884-79d0-487b-b71a-e2ef174a74ee_ft8d.ss3.13pm.jpg/1284x2778.png) ## FT8 Decoder Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 6 (75%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 1 (13%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 1 (13%) ## FT8 Decoder Reviews in United States ### ***-- "Digirig not supported" Sooooo, yes this program works, as in it decodes. FT8 audio, and makes ft8 noise out. So it is then up to you to get some cables and make it work with your radio. For what this costs I wish I could get my money back it was a gamble to see if it would work with a DigiRig, sadly it doesn’t. (Missed opportunity) oh well. -- Arima Commander, 2022-12-27 [View all FT8 Decoder reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to FT8 Decoder - [HAM-Toolbox](https://apptail.io/app/ham-toolbox-HYC/united-states) - [NAVTEX Pad](https://apptail.io/app/navtex-pad-uFxb/united-states) - [SDR Receiver](https://apptail.io/app/sdr-receiver-Tqhc/united-states) - [PocketPacket](https://apptail.io/app/pocketpacket-VFlc/united-states) - [MagicSDR: SDR Radio Receiver](https://apptail.io/app/magicsdr-sdr-radio-receiver-YAsc/united-states) - [RadioMail Classic](https://apptail.io/app/radiomail-classic-gLtc/united-states) - [RepeaterPhone](https://apptail.io/app/repeaterphone-gQSc/united-states) - [HamLog](https://apptail.io/app/hamlog-EQld/united-states) - [SDR-Control Mobile](https://apptail.io/app/sdr-control-mobile-nzIk/united-states) - [iFTx](https://apptail.io/app/iftx-VlSn/united-states) ## FT8 Decoder Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/united-kingdom) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/australia) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/japan) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/norway) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/turkey) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/france) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/spain) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/germany) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/kuwait) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/malaysia) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/new-zealand) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/peru) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/poland) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/portugal) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/ukraine) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/austria) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/south-africa) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/belgium) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/canada) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/switzerland) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/chile) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/czechia) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/denmark) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/greece) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/ft8-decoder-TPmd/israel) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
