## FUJIFILM XApp Description
FUJIFILM XApp is an app. provided by Fujifilm Corporation. Once users pair a Fujifilm digital camera with their smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth®, they can transfer captured images and movies to their smartphone or tablet, control the camera remotely, backup and restore camera settings, synchronize date, time, and location, and update firmware.
The Wi-Fi function of smartphones or tablets is also used for transferring captured images and videos, and updating firmware.
In addition, by signing in to Fujifilm's network service, daily shooting activities using the camera can be automatically summarized in a diary format.
This service is useful for reviewing their photographic activities and improving their photographic skills.

Used to use this app and it worked flawlessly. Then one day it decided to not work. Like ever. Honestly, with the amount of issues with Fujifilm is it really worth it? Just as they are consistently good, they are consistently bad. Unreliable app, defective cameras, what gives? Just shut it down.

This app won’t connect to my Fujifilm X-e4 despite working previously. When I tried to connect via Bluetooth, it asks me to use the camera remote app. When I attempt to do that, it also fails to connect and directs me to this app. My camera is on the latest firmware.

When the app isn’t capable of doing its most basic function “it is garbage”.  I registered my camera twice, first using a tablet then my phone.  It still doesn’t recognize my camera as being registered. Hi, just updated my phone to iOS 18 Beta and the app started to not recognize my X-T5 camera and was telling me it is not compatible by suggesting me to use Cam Remote app, it was working there, but still my camera works great with XApp , please fix it and I’ll change my rate, which is for your attention. :)

After my first review,I tried to get XApp to work properly. Some photos transferred over but then the transfers stopped and the time remaining according to the app began to rise until it exceeded a couple of hours. It became apparent the app thought there was no storage space left but in fact according to the iPhone, there was 17 GB still available. Less than half of the new photos did show up in the Photos app but more than half remained untransferred. I halted the process with XApp on the phone and assumed the transfer process had halted. A couple of hours later I discovered that the Fujifilm X-T30 was still trying to transfer photos and in fact that heated up to an alarming degree. I immediately turned off the camera's power switch but the orange/green light kept flashing so I had removed the battery which was very warm to the touch. I have no idea how much damage I did to the battery. But this app is seriously flawed and I really don’t think anyone should be using it until it’s fixed. And yes, the X-T30 is running the most recent firmware update.

The app is an improvement over the previous one. I'll add more stars if the app can use the location data from hikes recorded from my Apple Watch instead of the app recording the location itself. I record all of my outdoor activity on my Watch and don't want to waste battery on my iPhone when I'm out in the wilderness. 

Essentially, I’d like the option, once I get home, to add GPS data to my photos based on the timestamps of the photos approximate timestamps of the GPX data from the Health app.

When I use the app with my X-S20 which I thought would be perfect for travel photography alongside the geotagging in the app, I was proven wrong. I can understand that you need to open the app before shooting for the geotags but I can’t get over the fact that when I put my phone to sleep or sometimes when I switch apps to camera on the phoneX the connection stops updating the location. You can’t simply just keep the phone on the app the entire time you’re going around travelling. Please make it work better in the background.
